Just looked at the bbc page. Wonder what the explosions can be - gas/fuel exploding perhaps?

I guess it was inevitable something like that would happen with a bunch of flooded unattended insutrial sites.

It seems to be amazingly chaotic and badly organised - it's not like they didn't have a few days warning - sure they have contingency plans for this sort of thing - America is prone to natural disasters - hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, volcanoes.
