Anyone affected by Connaught going into administration?

My husband works for Connaught Partnerships. Sad times for us and the many other workers in the social housing division as it goes into administration .

Anyone else here affected?

I suspect that the administrator will try to save some of the profitable contracts and some of the employees to create an ongoing business that can be resurrected and sold on.

It seems it depends on where exactly he works.

He works in Partnerships unfortunately. They are getting little news (everything trickled through, nothing official), going into work every day and sitting around in the canteen, atmosphere on site not great. We're getting all our info from BBC radio 4!
Word is going around that they could be transferred to other providers but without anything concrete they're all feeling vunerable. Sad times .

I'm going to make a batch of cakes for him to take in on Monday. Going to cook up something delicious :)

News this morning that the Social Housing Division of Connaught has been bought by Morgan Sindall and 2500 jobs saved.
