Well what is the alternative? Put them into care? I think the right decision has been made tbh.

How old were they?

4, 2 and 11 months old!!

hmmmm see what you mean, bit young aren't they, don't think I could leave mine for 2 weeks with granny let alone a 15 year old babysitter.

But if they had jailed her, the children would have been punished more than the mother. Difficult one.

Where's the father in all this?

Don't know about the father, but I know when the story first broke the children were looked after "by a relative"...

and what's to say she won't do it again????

hopefully this will teach her a lesson and she will be shaken by this incident. Although the grin on the photo doesn't look v sorry to me.
