He deserved it he was probably black or a muslim or a leftist. The police are under a lot of pressure. There are always a few bad apples. Harry Stanely deserved it as his head got in the way of the bullets. Cherry Groce was asking for it by not being white.

The policemen were well out of line and behaved unprofessional. Reflected in the fact that they have been suspended from duty and are being investigated....

The 70yr old man in question refused to comply with the police, drove into a police officer (or as he said "accidentally lost control and hit a police officer"), drove off from the scene followed by a police car with blue lights for 20 minutes (claimed he thought it was an "escort home"), only stopped when they deployed a stinger and still refused to get out of the car.

The damage to his windows was to prevent him running over another police officer and driving away again.

This is how most police car chases end It's to disorientate the person who is refusing to stop and ensure that they don't drive off again.

Jesus Liberty, the man shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel of a car.

I bet if he'd hit and killed some innocent pedestrian, everyone would be bleating, 'Why didn't the police do something to stop him?'

It is an interestingly reported story. The police will of course uphold an investigation as there has been a serious complaint. But as they are not allowed to comment on the story, you only ever hear so much of what actually happened.
