Read that earlier - still rather odd - wonder if we'll ever know!

I am aghast at the 'hoax' accusations. Obviously someone picked up in the sea at nigt, trying to commit suicide, is mentally disturbed.

I suppose the media were encouraged 9and it doesn't take much) to hype it up a bit, in order to get the coverage that might have led to him being identified.

To remove clothing labels to avoid identification before you commit suicide, go to another country - it's quite extreme.

This story as well. It seems his family hadn't seen the publicity about him.

I would love to know where the piano maestro stuff came from - he couldn't actually play at all, so was that just invented by the media? Pretty irresponsible if so, as they were trying to identify him. I agree - it seems unfair to call him a hoaxer - he is obviously mentally ill.
