Foursquare - great facility for stalkers

This Guardian article is pretty worrying. I hadn't even heard of Foursquare and have to wonder who on earth would broadcast their location at all times to random strangers? Rapists'/muggers' /burglars' charter or what?

I was aware of it, just glad I'm not so "hooked" as to have gadgets reporting my every movement to the world, as if I am someone special, or there's any value in knowing.

For some there may be value in knowing....

scary. poor people naive enough to post stuff on there. as if there wasn't enough suveillance by authorities and governments to keep us in line.
