Islamophobia is a made up word used to claim victimhood and gain any advantage they can. Phobic implies fear, but most people are not frightened, just weary of it all.I for one am tired of their constant demand to change our ways , beliefs, laws etc I'm tired of their desire to dominate and become or superior in every situation, tired of seeing them pray all over the place & mass prayer in the streets when there's virtually a mosque on every corner, tired of brutal sharia law, sickened by halal slaughter, outraged that their old men are marrying little girls so they can rape them to death, then buy another one. But most of all I'm tired of our citizens being raped and murdered buy illegal immigrants while our government does nothing to stop it. It's not racist to say any of this , it is simply my opinion & Islam is not a race, it's not phobic to say it either, it is simply the truth. But in any case why shouldn't we be phobic ? It's not wrong to be afraid of being raped or murdered, fear is not unlawful.
Islamophobia isn't on the rise, because it's means nothing.

Someone who is Muslim would not be so ignorant.

It’s not extreme for the Jewish people to have a homeland, which is all that Zionism is. There are many Muslim-majority countries now (most of these countries were not always Muslim-majority, and some made Christian or Jewish citizens unwelcome to the point that they had to leave).

I’m a non-Jewish Zionist. People who are ‘anti-Zionist’ are antisemitic; they’re the extreme ones.

As to the OP, no I don’t think we have an ‘Islamophobia’ problem in this country; conversely we have a growing awareness of the danger of political Islam, in its many forms.

Yes I worry about Islam here.

How is antizionism a protected belief? Protected by whom? What body?

As of August 2026, anti-Zionist beliefs can be legally protected in the UK under the Equality Act 2010, as a form of protected “philosophical belief” under the protected characteristic of religion or belief.

When you have the Muslim politicians from Muslim states warning us that we are far too lenient on extreme Islam, advising us that we should ban groups like the Muslim Brotherhood, as they have done in their own countries, and saying that they will not allow their own Muslim young people come here to study, because they fear they will be radicalised by extremists operating in our universities, then you really need to wake up and listen to these warnings.

That is not an irrational fear or a phobia, it's genuine cause for concern about the increasing influence of extreme Islamists, and it is essential that valid criticism of these groups is not suppressed by bandying the word Islamophobia around.

hattie43 · 09/08/2026 18:29

@NajcWhat rubbish . If the UK gave Israel £360 billion last year we’d be bankrupt. Uk doesn’t give money to Israel , it does trade with Israel but that’s obviously different to ‘ giving ‘ . The UK did pledge £100 million to Palestine for humanitarian support but I’m guessing that doesn’t support your narrative.

Our government has and will agree and can be fact checked ( you can google it you really care) given Israel BILLIONS EVERY YEAR since 1940"s. Just in 2025 uk gave Israel £360 billion. Now if you randomly choose to look up any year in the past you will see this amount is average. We have given Israel much more in some years ...are you following? Good now use a calculator to work out this amount x 75 years

🙄 have a guess what my job is 🤔. So tell me, what is your problem with subjective lived experience? You are being a little opaque.

I don't have a problem with 'subjective lived experience' except when it's caused trauma. Then therapy/counselling needs to be used to help such people.

I can with absolute confidence state that the overwhelming majority of people in the UK who are concerned about Islamists are not in any way influenced by Israel.

They don't give a shit about Israel. Most don't even know where it is, or the history.

Same as most Palestine supporters in the UK don't really know where it is or what the war is about.

Tommy may be being supported by Israel but his supporters don't give a shit about Israel.

Attempting to frame anti-Islamist views in the UK as part of a global Zionist conspiracy is just idiotic.

Most people couldn't tell you what Zionism is.

People are concerned about Islamist terrorism across Europe and crime, especially sex offending of UK children and women committed by Muslims or Islamists.

Because it's happening all the time.

No-one gives a shit about Zion apart from abuse of the UK enablers including rape-enablers who pretend that Islam really isn't a problem but Israel is.

Or true Zionists who believe the state of Israel needs to be cleansed of non- Jews to prepare for the coming of Christ. Which is bollocks.

Get over yourself. Don't tell people they can't believe their own eyes.

Anti-zionism is a protected belief that under British law does not equate to antisemitism.

Of course it isn’t, you’re making things up. Neither antisemitism nor anti-Zionism have any protected status at all here. Next.

Billions? Really? Here’s my question to Gemini and the answer I got….

How much has the uk given Israel

The UK does not give direct financial foreign aid or military grants to the government or military of Israel.
Wikipedia

Instead, financial and material ties between the UK and Israel primarily revolve around commercial arms exports and bilateral trade, while direct UK government aid in the region is directed toward the Palestinian territories.
Wikipedia

The relationship breaks down across key areas:

  1. Direct Military Aid ($0)
Unlike the United States—which provides billions of dollars in annual military grants—the UK government does not give direct cash or military aid packages to Israel. Wikipedia
  1. Commercial Arms Sales & Licences
While the government does not donate arms, it grants export licences to British defence companies selling military hardware to Israel. Wikipedia

Direct Arms Licences: Since 2015, the UK has approved over £500 million in military export licences to Israel. In 2023, direct exports were valued at approximately £18 million. (UK arms imports account for less than 1% of Israel’s total military imports).
Oxfam GB+ 1

F-35 Fighter Jet Components: The UK’s biggest contribution to Israeli military hardware is indirect. UK companies (like BAE Systems) produce roughly 15% of the components for all F-35 fighter jets worldwide. These parts are exported to a central pool in the US, which supplies Israel. Campaign groups estimate the value of UK-made F-35 parts supplied to Israel since 2016 at over £400–£500 million.
Oxfam GB+ 2

(In September 2024, the UK suspended roughly 30 out of 350 direct arms export licences to Israel citing international humanitarian law concerns, but exempted the global F-35 component supply chain).
Campaign Against Arms Trade

  1. Humanitarian Aid in the Region
UK government bilateral foreign aid in the region is directed to the Occupied Palestinian Territories (the West Bank and Gaza Strip), not Israel. Between 2009 and 2024, the UK provided over £900 million in aid for Palestinian health, education, and humanitarian relief. UK Parliament
  1. Operational Support
While not monetary aid, the UK military has provided non-financial operational assistance to Israel, including spy flights over the Mediterranean/Gaza to gather intelligence for hostage retrieval efforts and defensive naval/aerial support against regional missile threats. Oxfam GB

Want to break down what arms licences the UK government suspended versus what remains active?

"Our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told us that this religion would reach all places on this earth. Tamهm al-Dari said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: ‘This matter (i.e., Islam) will certainly reach everywhere that night and day reach, and Allah will not leave any house or tent [i.e., all dwellings, in towns and in the desert], but Allah will cause this religion to enter it, and some people will be honoured because of it [by converting] and others will be humiliated because of it [for refusing to embrace it], and they will be ruled by the Muslims, an honour which Allah will bestow on Islam and a humiliation which He will inflict on kufr (disbelief).” (Narrated by Ahmad, 16344; classed as sahهh by al-Albani in al-Silsilah al-Sahهhah, 3)

'The messenger Muhammad (saw) said: “Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of
Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not
embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead)
bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet your enemies who are polytheists,
invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also
accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept)
Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against
them. Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of Muhaajiroun
(migrants) and inform them that, if they do so, they shall have all the privileges
and obligations of the Muhaajiroun. If they refuse to migrate, tell them that they
will have the status of Bedouin Muslims and will be subjected to the Commands of
Allah like other Muslims, but they will not get any share from the spoils of war or
Fay’ except when they actually fight with the Muslims (against the disbelievers). If
they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizyah (tax). If they agree to
pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek
Allah’s help and fight them…” (Saheeh Muslim #1731)
“If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizyah (tax). If they agree to pay, accept it
from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight
them.” The Jizyah is a small charge or tax which every non-Muslim must pay to the Khaleefah
(leader of the Muslims). In return, the non-Muslim will be under a covenant, thus making it
prohibited for any Muslim to violate his sanctity. This order from the Messenger Muhammad
(saw) is very clear; if they refuse to embrace Islam, demand from them the Jizyah i.e. implement
the Sharee’ah over them. If they refuse both of these options, to embrace Islam or live by it as a
system of governance, “seek Allah’s help and fight them.”
Conclusion
So how will Islam dominate the world? Most likely by force! "

These are direct quotes from Islamic scripture.

You don't seem to know much about Islam?

You don't know that Allah said Islam would dominate the world? And people refusing would be ruled over?

Also lots of doctrine about apostasy meaning death.

What's your background?

Doesn't seem like Islam?
