Mice house situation ongoing

Hello everybody so we’re do I start…
I am a family of 5 me my partner and 4 year old and twins who are 2 so we used to live in a 2 bedroom house which obviously became too small and ended up getting bad mold and mice after new neighbours moved in never had a problem prior now this house was a private house so I set up property pool 10th October 2022 to try and move with council after waiting and waiting I was getting nowhere Evan on band b however in the end I put the funds together and went into a bigger 3 bedroom house to say I cried when the landlord said yes is a understatement I was so excited to finally be happy discussed with the letting the situation we was in after waiting almost 2 years on property pool and getting nowhere o was so happy to finally be given this chance was told the house is perfectly fine no issues and felt happy moving forward to moving day .. stressed but was happy but then after the first day my cereal got chewed straight through by mice we moved into the property April 2023 also found out the letting agent they use for Maintenace is In London big RED Flag I’m in Liverpool so pest control constantly coming out since then mice have chewed threw almost everything you can think of chewed the kids toys my new pram every single day there on the couch no matter how many holes I fill they make new ones my daughter is scared to be in her room because of this when I say this is a severe mouse infestation I mean it’s horrific the house smells like a mouse cage first thing in the morning I have pulled my hair out over the house I then had a fight to change my band back to b as being in a 3 bedroom they changed it to c however the good thing is they changed it back to b and kept the day I first applied as 2022 so technically I have been on property pool for 3 plus years constantly bidding and getting nowhere all the maintenance do is get pest control to come out every 2 weeks and bait the place but that had been ongoing for over 2 years now I have gone to shelter for a solicitor which I do have one I thought great I’m going to get somewhere showed him all my evidence to which he said he can’t help me with moving only thing he can do is tell them to get the work done which has still not been completed we have been battling with the landlord over rent amount which is £800 a month to live here I have been paying £700 and keeping hold of the other £100 a month as she still wants full rent knowing full well we live in a mouse infested house I have been to the go over my mental health over it my eldest daughter is on the ASD pathway and can’t cope with it I know you should withhold rent but in my eyes I feel like the landlord has not considered our health and safety or Evan considered damages which I have shown her myself when we do finally move whenever I get accepted somewhere half of my stuff will have to be left in this house the couches have been pooped on by mice droppings more times than I can imagine we are a clean family every single night I mop I scrub this house to the bone but they still come in because the neighbours don’t do anything about the situation living next to a Romanian family they have said “they don’t have mice” and the other side is a HMO which pest control have told me themselfs it goes through one ear out the other with them I have baby’s in this house! And they want to live like that property pool are literally useless I send messages and get no reply’s I have viewed so many private rented houses but because we are on uc we just get judged by that I have been under private for over 7 years Evan have a good reference from this current agency like ??? Have no ccjs or anything I just want a happy safe home for my kids my partner suffers mental health problem as well so I am literally the carer of everyone and trying to deal with this issue I’m literally sitting in tears writing this because I don’t know what else to do I have had pest control in multiple times I have had a council private sector environmental health come in and do a report which initially they stated it’s from the neighbours that was at the start to getting a solicitor who literally didn’t do much all he could do was tell the landlord to get the work done which it is not done ! I need some help any advice I have had far to many breakdowns than I can count my poor babys have lived with mice since they have been born literally there only two and have been in 2 houses that have been destroyed by mice I can’t cope I have wrote to the mp been to councillor meeting and have had no help like what do I do ? Some images attached two sensitive other ones are my pram with holes in and random nerf gun darts chewed not just one every single one I found and under the kickboards makes me sick 😭

who is doing the pest control? The poison should be in enclosed boxes, not out like that.
next keep absolutely all food in Tupperware boxes, so cereal, bread etc. do not leave any food out, by getting rid of the food source you’ll start to reduce the numbers and hoover, hoover, hoover. Clear any clutter, and if you can see where they are getting in, stuff any gaps bigger than a pen nib with wire wool. Put down cotton wool soaked in tea tree oil (but make sure it’s 100% out of way of your children) mice dislike neat tea tree, it’s a deterrent not a cure. I’d see if you can find a free pram on freecycle and ditch the one the mice have pissed/ pooed, nibbled . You need to get the pest control company out again and get that poison sorted, especially with a children around. Remember to wear gloves and wash your hands thoroughly when dealing with dead mice. It’s possible that a mouse or mice are living in your sofa, so I’d be looking at keeping my own humane traps and putting them down the back of the sofa. Keep complaining to your landlord, they need to be getting on top of this big time, but don’t hold back the rent, as that could potentially result in giving you notice / eviction.

Hiya so I have had multiple different pest control teams come out council first then JG pest control and now this other one which to be fair when they were coming out every two weeks it settled down with the mice I felt comfortable until we find a new home however week after they went they come straight back again I am putting wire wool and caulking every single hole I find also cemented a whole wall I have done every single trick in the book everything you can think I have done it clean up every single night Evan brought a carpet cleaner because I was scared with the kids being on the floor I mean this house is cleaned top to bottom every night I had pest control come back out the other day to do another report which he has stated they are coming from the neighbours as the bait that was in the loft was completely gone in an week and there’s holes up there but honest to god I don’t know how there still getting into the house I have sealed every single hole I can find only other thing I can think of is there jumping over the kickboards but I can’t do anything because whoever fitted them didn’t cut them to flush at all and they are moved out the way to put more bait down the pictures you see with the bait everywhere is under the kitchen units kickboards are put there so the kids have no access to that bait at all Evan though I wasn’t happy with the mice trashing under there they had the child proof boxes out however the mice did not touch any of them they did however touch the stronger blue bait they put down in the past which killed some of them and the problem settled but they are just straight back in when that’s gone I’m at the end of my tether with it iv had pest control said I myself have done all the right things to try and get rid of them and seal all points but he said himself they are just going to keep coming in because the neighbours don’t care basically I literally bleach and disinfect everything but this isn’t a way to live the pram was brand new when they chewed through it and the landlord won’t Evan consider replacing it or anything for damages the couches make me sick which I constantly clean but if I get rid of them to get more it would be pointless I just don’t know what to do anymore 🤦‍♀️

This was literally this morning half 7 and just comes out and runs off again tried to get it but they are so quick 🤦‍♀️ right next to the pram too 😩
