Girls’ primary schools Afghanistan

I have just read an article by Gordon Brown in the Guardian, stating that the taliban have now banned primary education for girls. This appalling news also appears in the Wall Street Journal, but I can’t find anything else about it in the British press. Has anyone else read anything about this?

Indeed it is! Apologies, brain fug due to covid strikes again. I meant to say, has anyone read this anywhere else in the British press or news channels? Such a dreadful infringement of human rights would normally appear all over the place, BBC news site, for example?
