ESA stopped and i am ill

Hi , i am at a total loss , my daughters esa has been stopped she has no money to pay her rent bills, or for food, she is due to have an op next week , to see if she has bowl cancer , she is scared and worried sick , but no one seems to care , dwp just say it could take months to get it sorted , i just can;t believe that her money can be stopped like that , she can't live on fresh air , surely its morally wrong , to take a sick persons only means of support away , while they are ill .

Have they told her on what grounds they've stopped her payments?

Did she fail to attend an appointment? They are very harsh on sanctions and stop the money immediately. It may be worth contacting CAB or Fightback for advise.

She told them she was having a knee op on the day she was to be assessed .

You know , i wouldn't mind , but as a family , we have paid into the system for years , and never used it . She had to be put on suicide watch last week , because she just wanted to die . : (
