Biometric Security in UK Airports - Necessary or inflinting human rights survey

Hi

Im just doing my final year project on Biometric Security in UK Airports. Today we are seeing more and more of our human rights being taken away from us. But when it comes to biometrics security in aiports, do you think it is a necessary or inflicting human rights which could be used a crossed the government to implement something more sinister, ie new world order/ totalitarian /

If it wasnt in the airport and in the school. would you agree the governement taking you and your childs biometric data

The problem here is that flying is not a human right. If you want to fly then accept the restrictions or get a licence, buy an aircraft and bypass the scanners by flying yourself - note that this route is probably more expensive.

Personally don't have a problem with biometric data being used. DD's school uses fingerprints for paying for school dinners.
Passports are there to prove you are who you say you are but could be stolen and used fraudulently. I suppose using biometric data would make this harder.
