Hi

I live in a block of flats and we are all homeowners. We have a private car park and each have one space plus a visitors bay.

Issue 1 - people carrier taxi with telephone number on parked on pavement leading into car park. Owner lives there but don't know which number

Issue 2 - car been parked in visitors bay for 5 days!

Maintenance company won't do a thing and obviously council won't as private

We have no CCTV and permits just numbers in spaces.

Short of doing something illegal I don't know what to do Confused

Re visitors bay, is it your visitors' bay? If not, I'd leave it.it could belong to someone who has a family member staying with them in the short term, still a 'visitor' and even if not, if it's their bay, do you really want to be getting into tittle tattle with your neighbours? If you do, put a polite note under the wiper of the guest car as a first step? Personally though, I'd be keeping out of it unless the car was "suspicious" or on my property.

Taxi? You say it has a number? Phone the number and ask them to move it if you're that bothered.

And yes, you'd get more replies reported in the Legal section
