July's Fledgling Flyers : The dc's drive us round the bend, the school holidays descend, our sanity we will lend, and flying will be our friend

Welcome to the July edition of the Fledgling Flyers where we are going to attempt to restore order in our houses, chatting as we go.

Here you can do any of the following:

  • repeat or start baby steps (again!)
  • repeat baby steps + do 15 mins a day decluttering in the current zone

or

  • reinforce babysteps and do daily missions if you have finished decluttering

For those who are curious, these are the Babysteps, which we all hope will restore order in our homes and make our lives a little bit easier with lots of support (and chat, and wine, and a little more chat )

So please come and join us, old and new, from July 1st.

No, on second thoughts, I'm here. Had a lovely week camping on the Isle of Wight, went to visit a lovely lady who makes yummy cakes and has lots of teenagers

Arrived home with a huge soggy tent and about 10 machine loads of washing to find that the boiler has packed up, resulting in the elctricity tripping out and the freezer defrosting, also that my car wouldn't start. Aarghh. Frozen food was still half frozen, so have been cooking away all evening, but have no hot water for cleaning up, so the dishwasher is going to be busy, as well as the washing machine. Nice AA man has sorted the car though. Praying that the boiler will be a simple fix and not need replacing.....

ellie no probs bout thread title. Hope your day got bit better and a big thank you for running thread when you have been so so busy. You have done brilliant job x

today list went like this

bathing v dirty dc-done
debunking dd toy chest-dejunking I thinkni
meant and not done but did put away all DVD lying around lounge
wm/dw-done
party at soft play this afternoon (ear defenders required)-dc loved it. I almost got stuck in tunnels whilst trying to look after dd
sausage, hash browns and beans aw well too much party food consumed by dc so
didn't see point in faffing. We did have homemade minestrone soup before we went so i feel exonerated.

Almost time for bb and bed. Does anyone watch it did anyone see the naked shower mans bottom? yum yum yum
