How to get rid of masking tape residue on glass?

Hi I masked off the panes of glass on my door prior to painting and when I took the tape off there's lots of sticky White patches left on the glass (lots!) any top tips as to how to get rid if it?

You can get something called 'sticky stuff remover' from places like betterware and kleeneezy. I bet Lakeland do something similar.

Have you tried a wee bit of wd40 on a cloth? This works for sticky labels
