Dd back from outward bound course (Brownies) turned out her clothes should have been brown too, or navy and she was one of only three with pink clothes and had to keep her Brownie sweatshirt on all w/e.. Ah well, she had a great time, I was very proud of my grownup looking daughter when she returned. Lots of snuggles for rest of eve in order though.

Starbear yes, I love NOT having that Sunday eve feeling which I had my entire childhood and office-working life. But you have Thurs and Fri off - perhaps home workload will rejig itself? Is the new job satisfactory? Well done on having lovely friends round, we have been so unsociable again, running gauntlet of school gate is almost enough for me, just revving myself up for dd's birthday party next w/e, and loads of Easter stuff with family in Eire.

Dylsmum I tried to run with ds1 (who needs to run because of his dodgy leg) but ended up streaking ahead, which was a bit sad. He never was really a runner I'm afraid. Ds2 loves to run!

Star despite having no friends round I have just spent I HOUR tidying/washingup kitchen after supper and some of lunch. It seemed forever.

swan I'd have sent dd in pink clothes to (not sure she owns any diff colours )
Ds left me at one point, he sprints then walks sprint then walk the whole thing whereas I just jog on steadily and caught him up near the end. we had a jokey tussle near the finish line both trying to be first

Star I will miss the sunday evening relax from sept, give it a few weeks and I'm sure you'll settle into some kind of pre-monday routine
