Hello, Veteran Flyladies

This is your thread. We could use this thread title for a while, just changing it to Weekly?

Morning all
Day has started badly, have already shouted at DS and he is being horrid. he was up at 6.15 and I have not been up long ... guess that's my fault and he is probably bored. When he is horrid, he really is! (And so am I!)

Planning a walk to the sculpture park today, otherwise, not much.

LOL Evye Wendy I emerged bleary eyed - and dd wanted to make lemonade from real lemons with knives. And I hadn't even had my coffee yet. She did, it was fine

We are not going to church this morning because Ds1 is on Altar Server rota this eve (more stress - he's forgotten what he supposed to do)- and it feels like there is loads of time -for once.

A second cousin has invited us to Sunday lunch, last went there 11 years ago. She lectures in English Lit, and her husband in Law; I'm already feeling vaguely apprehensive of them and journey, AND they know loads of mutual acquaintances I haven't kept up with I need to look my best and be upbeat

Dd also has a film party to go to in opposite direction at 4.00pm which I rashly said she could attend.

Right, off to turn myself into a sociable person.

morning all

my day started at 3.45am when ds had a major paddy. But I did get back to sleep from 7 until 10 so it's not all bad. It's a freezing cold but beautifully sunny day.

So far I have:

opened all the windows
unloaded and reloaded wm
sorted another two lots of washing to go in the machine when it finishes
swept kitchen floor
cleaned kitchen surfaces (the ones that aren't covered in loads of stuff anyway)
washed the table
hung two lots of washing out on the line
assessed the winter damage to the garden.
Pushed all the pegs holding the weed suppressant membrane back into the ground

just having a break whilst dp and ds play upstairs.

Evening all

I hope that the quiet on here means that you are all having a good day

tea and jas I hope that your mother's are both doing okay and are getting better

done
a couple of hours in the garden as a family
bathed ds
read through some recipes
dry washing folded
washing in from outside
wet washing hung up

I have had the heating and the fire on (something I very rarely allow) and I am still flippin freezing.

swanriver · 07/03/2010 22:10

yes I'm freezing too Wolf

I keep thinking it is not worth buying an electric blanket, but now I am getting evermore desperate. We are practically wearing nightcaps to bed.

had a good day though
lots of driving, a lunch , a birthday party, and ds managed his altar serving without bursting into tears

and I tidied kitchen thoroughly whilst dh took two to park in the morning

A row over map reading though
