Seafood whiff on stainless steel - how do i get shot?

DH used our lovely big stainless steel stock pot for cooking some mussels a few days ago.... it still honks despite 1) a good soak and scrub with washing up liquid... 2) a scrub with lemon (twice) (and overnight soak with lemon)... 3) another very thorough soak and scrub with hot water and washing up liquid...

I'm wondering if it would be worth boiling up some biological washing powder in it, but am worried that might damage the pan.... any suggestions gratefully received!!

bicarb and water? or a pile of bicarb on its own? That tends to remove stinks odours
