Excited! Just took my oven door to pieces

Well did you know, that some ovens have got FOUR layers of glass inside?

and they ALL needed a wipe over, but it was only the inner one that needed the wire brush thankfully.

I just looked round and could see what was cooking, this is the first time I have really cleaned the door and have had the oven for about 5 years

It was v interesting taking it to bits but slightly scary.

I was convinced someone would give this the for most boring thread ever, so thankyou for being interested!

Yes, it was fine.

That was what got me - I was scrubbing the inside bit, then saw that ubiquitous drip going down the inside, and realised I would never be satisfied until I ahd found it. So I took off one layer and realised itw as actually on a different bit, kept going really...

it was thankfully fine. What make do you have? If it is a smeg I can talk you through it!
