Weekend Flyers - Tree-ing to have a family day

I've had a good night, but come down to mess and muddle.
ds1 is screaming at me in a rage he always waits till weekend to do this???
Dh has taken kids to buy a tree after various irritations with people appearing in unsuitable shorts
Taken sheets off our bed and done a big whites wash

Tasks to do while he is out.

Make soup from mouldering watercress
Washup three pots and pans
Chop veg for long awaited stirfry
sweep floor
mop topcat antics
wipe worktops

i am starting to clean my chatotic living room at this time of nite what a twat lol

at least i will have one tidy room when i wake up in morning.

i dont know how people cant work and keep on top of there house work

i work 30 hrs and find it so hard off to get on with it

Good for you wonderif - I think it does make one feel better in the morning, but don't go to bed too late - that's a killer.

Just a little list of dones

Stockpiled more groceries for Xmas week in freezer and fridge
Wrote another 9 Xmas cards with messages so that's probably about 30 in total may have sent one to same person twice as posting them the minute I get a batch done.
Swept kit and diner floor
Wiped all worktops
sink [just need clear washed stuff)
dw on
washing hung up
Uniform for dcs laid out x 2
Halfheartedly tidied dcs' rooms whilst putting them to bed - better than nothing
Changed dd's sheets to get ahead on housebleugh tomorrow

Put out clothes for tomorrow
Plan for tomorrow made
Ds out for a walk by 9.30
schoolwork till 12 after walk
then free whatever till pickup other dcs
walk in park after pickup

off to bed now
OFM glad the old bat didn't ruin your twinkley afternoon, I bet your dd was completely shocked by her comment and kept very close to you after that.
