I was v.sceptical about counselling but actually found it very helpful. If nothing else you can just pour it all out without being worried about upsetting/worrying/boring the person opposite!

Afternoon! DS woke me at 9.45, and it was 11 before we got going. Wednesdays are traditional lie-in days. I've missed them.

Hello everyone

I'm being supremely hopeless today, barely done anything - visit to osteopath and need to feed DS2 on the way there and on the way home kind of ate into the day. I have put washing on and done a few emails etc but that is about it and now it's only a short time til school pick up so..... Can't face typing out my very extensive 'to do' list as there is still so much to do! Will be braver tomorow

My main thing is that I must try to knit Shaun the Sheep's head again this evening. DS1 very disappointed whenever he asks me about S's progress (only knitted body so far and that was a mission..). Poor boy.

JKS - I've had counselling, it really helped me get through a bad patch. Good luck.

Ali - more snow, DS1 would be most jealous. He's desperate for it snow here again.

Oh yes, JKS: re trouble getting to sleep. I've found it hard to switch off sometimes so I've been using Rescue Remedy night time spray. I think I got it from Boots. It seems to work. Origins also do a pillow spray which works brilliantly but gave me freaky dreams so I gave up on that though I know various people who swear by it.

I was a good girl yesterday and did all my ironing and putting away Banished dc upstairs to kill each other play and watched a couple of episodes of lost while I did it (yep I'm back on lost!)

Yep soda crystals rule for cleanng ovens, and anythng else yucky!

Alice definitely men that make bedrooms smell, mine just smells lovely and fragrant of girly things now!

We had about 5 flakes of snow but then it turned to rain.

Have different contact lenses to trial, same prescription but they make me feel a bit spaced out and headachey and vision doesn't seem as good. Bit wierd they are supposed to be better?

Dr Stewart's tranquility tea is good. Also valerian tablets but they smell pretty dreadful so you have to swallow them while holding your breath

Freak- that happened to me before was due to the curvature of my eyeball so if it continues id def go back and speak to optician.

JKS- DP has been referred for counselling due to being signed off with stress, waiting for his first appt. I think its to get him talking and teach him some coping techniques.

Been v busy mon-wed working- off again until nnext Monday so the work begins!

Oh yuck yuck yuck the most vilest disgustingest horriblest thing just happened. DS came and stuck his hand in front of my face and I absentmindedly kissed it then thought yuck he had something on his hand that's now on my lip, oh hang on I can smell poo I CAN SMELL POO! THERE IS POO STUCK TO MY LIP!!!!

Yuck! Have scrubbed my face til it hurts!
