Haven't tried to take it tbh, not massively hot, but just the same as the last 2 (3?) times he's had a cold, he's ended up with a chest infection and struggling to breathe.
The ABs have always worked though so was thinking of going tomorrow but they can fit him in this evening so at least he can get one dose down him tonight.

Sorry DS2 was ill for his birthday JKS, but happy birthday from me anyway.

Freaky, Always look at what a small child offers you first.

We've been v. busy today. Went to playgroup and then after lunch SIL picked us up and we went and walked round the lake, visited Toys'r'us and had a coffee. Surprisingly, he has been chuntering in his cot for 1/2 hour! Over-stimulated perhaps. We may be going to soft play tomorrow for the first time.

Got another doc appt this morning and he was much better by the time we got there, or course

HMHB - I have been like the proverbial chicken but don't seem to have ticked much off my list!! In addition, DS isn't on great form and is being v.clingy - it's either teeth or a cold or both, but bad timing either way!

Well I'm going to get ready going out for dinner for my birthday as we are staying in on my birthday (sunday)
dh is bringing me to get a laptop, more a family present as the dcs are always in the office playing club penguin etc, and also so I can sit in the living room with it

Hello all

Mad couple of days so my list is shamefully long. I have done things on it but not nearly as much as I'd like. Yesterday I was thrown when I went to get DS1 from school. Apparently another boy tried to strangle him!!!!!!!

I spoke to DS1's teacher (fairly new, I think) and I don't find her v convincing. I then spoke to the foundation head who is great. DS1 knows her as she is in charge of the nursery he was at for a term. THEN I spoke to the head and I was mega unimpressed as she made ME feel as though I was being unreasonable for being a tad cross and upset. Grrrrrr. The phrase, 'we musn't demonise the other child' was bad enough but when I was told he was learning boundaries and it was almost a rite of passage I very nearly exploded..... Thank goodness DS1 seems ok and even seemed find about going to school today (not sure I would in his shoes!).

No idea how to deal with this going forward.

I've not heard re toxic parents, sounds intriguing. Must look it up. Wonder if the thug has toxic parents - I know his grandma is a bit terrifying looking!

Was v busy yesterday, out with my best friend looking at poss venues for her wedding (had a great day she asked me to be her bridesmaid) I'm on a high at the moment.

Didn't do much yest at all at home.

Got inlaws coming today to take us allout for a meal. Will have all morning at home until then.

then enjoy lunch out (they are paying so even better) cook a v easy dinner tonight so nnot too much work and enjoy a quiet evening with DP. must also fit in 30mins at park with DS for a walk, luckily we have a large ppark 10 mins walk away, 3 mins drive.
