CC - really hope she's ok. not a fun way to spend NYE.

DS2's left hand has been bothering him for months. Poss associated with the abnormal activity on his right hand side of the brain,
but now there's meant to be no abnormal activity his hand is still bugging him.
And the hosp people said his eeg wasn't weird when he was shouting/biting/being bothered by his hand.

HMHB We never go out, actually that is a lie 2 years ago my bestfriend got married on New Years so that was our first night out since having dcs and dh had to go home with flu, so that was our first year not seeing the new year in together
Now we just cuddle with a drink, best way IMO

JKS I thought ds hand was bothering him because of the canuala or something poor wee thing

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE passes round virtual Baileys

AliBellandthe40jingles · 31/12/2009 22:07

We don't go out either. Last year we had some friends down to stay for a couple of days over NYE and it was lovely, had a nice meal in a lots of booze. I can't bear the whole process of trying to organise NYE out - and everything costs about 10x what it does on any other day.

CC - boo what a horrid start to the year. Hope she gets better soon!

PlumBumandBaublesMum · 31/12/2009 22:12

Oh forgot to tell you of the weird coincedience
BIL give my dcs old books for christmas and told dd1 one of hers was very special and asked me did I know it
me: no
him: open front page
me: squeeel
There was my name and 3rd form class on a school label
The book had been in his girlfriends attic for years, her sister was in the year below me its a small world!

awastingamanger · 01/01/2010 09:25

Happy New Year!!!

Plum, how lovely!

CC, hope DD better soon, poor thing.

JKS, poor little fella. I suppose it could take a while for the nerves to readjust.
I thought you meant cannula too. That was the singularly most painful part of my c-section.

Not listing yet, haven't decided what we're doing today.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Morning all, Kids(apart from DD3) had a ball last night as it started to snow about 11.30pm, they were out making snow angels and firing snow balls as fireworks went off around them. Was lovely.

DD3 is in good form this morning, think we caught it before it got any worse, only that she had been in hospital, I probably wouldnt have panic.

Not too sure what we are doing today, but can I take this chance to thank you all for your support over the last year and looking forward to sharing the good times with you (and a clean house ) in 2010.

PlumBumandBaublesMum · 01/01/2010 10:58

CC I will join you in that sentiment

So I will start the New Year with a small list

Morning all and Happy New Year to the lovely Slatterns.

Am having a little sulk as DD up at 2.30am then 6am (bless her still got a cold) and DH has gone skiing again with his mates all day and I'm stuck with DD and trying to entertain DS who is getting a bit of cabin fever. Not brave enough to venture out with the two of them. Am just feeling knackered. Hence the winging, sorry.

Any ideas of how to entertain DS gratefully received.

JKS - sorry only watched the Dr Who on Xmas Day as visitors were watching it. It looked like the universe is doomed and Dr Who is going to save it and then change into the 'new' Dr. Probably saved you an hour or so there.

Plum - we are into Lost too. Annoyingly addictive. Hoping the answers will come in next series.

Wasting/CC - LOL @ sleep patterns. DD up and gurgling at 7.20am after 3am feed. She is so smiley I don't mind though.
