Welcome back Plum, have been wondering were you are.

My DM is driving me demented, nearly had a few arguments with her this morning! She is invited to my cousins tomorrow for dinner, when I told her it is tomorrow and not today, she said thats great I can get my hair done, I tried explaining that it was New Years eve, hair appointments have to be booked months in advance (hence why my hair is not done, due to sick mother and daughter), she said its Ok I am sure they will fit me in. She also cant find her pension card, only got her a replacement one before christmas, she took it off me when DD3 was in hospital!

On the plus side DS got his school report for his Christmas Exams and has done very well, a big improvement on his summer exams.

We've been to the shops today, I was horrified at the number of women wearing leggings/jeggings with a short coat who really didn't have the legs and bum for it. I was like this .
Had a nice lunch out and managed not to spend any money on tat in the sales. The shops here are really rubbish actually, worse than when we came here 5 years ago.

Need to do a bit of housework, have got friends coming over for brunch tomorrow and don't want to have to get up early and rush round. Have got yummy M&S party food for me and DH tonight and for tomorrow. [cheat emoticon]

It actually wasn't that bad at Meadowhell today, though the Apple store was packed with people spending their Christmas money and trying to work out how to use their iPhones etc. AND it turns out my macbook is still under warranty, and they can fix the problem, so hopefully I'll be back on the Mac next week!
