We didn't get up til nearly midnight today.

Didn't get the downstairs bottomed as I'd planned as DH was feeling too rough to get DS out of my way. I did manage to get normal jobs done to a high standard though, which is good enough.

Hopefully I'll actually make some progress tomorrow.

evening everyone, I am one happy slattern this evening, managed to clean the 4 bedrooms and main bathroom. Have added more peaks to my mountain range of washing, but am so glad. I even put away all the clean washing

We had a lovely day, and we were home in time to watch Strictly and see Chris win!
Haven't managed any jobs really - lots to do tomorrow.

Thank you, just wondering how I can keep the kids out of the house so I can keep it clean til Christmas day, I am nearly a year on the slatterns and I would like to see some sort of progress

CC I'm getting stuck in tomorrow and hoping to keep it that way for Christmas,
Panicing now about the snow as we haven't done all our shopping, our car is perfect car to handle the snow but I don't want to try it out if its really thick!

Morning all, woke early so came down to put a wash on. Determined to get through it. busy enough day today as DB is coming to collect DM and she is going to stay with him for a few days before spending christmas with my Dsis.

I just noticed I typed we didn't get up til midnight on Saturday. Just to be clear, it was 12 noon, I've never stayed in bed that late before.

We finally got the front room cleaned and the tree up yesterday. And I've written and posted my cards today, so I'm feeling Christmassy now.

Wasting - i did see that the other day!

DS2 is doing ok, he's getting fed up & pissed off and tired. But he's mostly over his chest infection so surgery should go ahead on Wed as planned.
