I am about all the Christmas plays.

I'll look at your thread in a mo Clairey, though don't know if I can help.

Had a great start to the day.
DH turned alarm off at 7, so we went back to sleep and woke at 8. then as I was ruuning around like a blue-arsed fly anyway, DH remembers he needs two utility bills. As we've not been here long, there aren't many and half are in my name, so it took me ten mins. to find him some.

Then ds was a grumpy bum and tried to bash everyone at toddler group, but he ate the party food band wasn't scared of Santa, so not too horrendous.

Phew!

Wasting, sounds like a mad morning.

We have been impeded by DS being sent home from school after it all getting a bit too much at the xmas party. So not much getting done here.

Anyone know what xmas card protocol is at school?
DS has received cards from all his teachers/classroom assistants. He only goes 3 mornings a week. Should I get together some cards and a little gift and drop it in tomorrow?? He doesn't go tomorrow but I could stop by.

DH is a teacher and isn't bothered if he gets anything really.

I normally send in a card and a gift, dcs write their own card now, but it is a pain, dd1 has a male teacher who has said he dosen't want anything but I would feel bad if she didn't have anything to give him

Have put all the invoices into piles so just have to note them and tot up (thats the long bit)
Need to decide whats for dinner now too!

Yep he is finished now. We've had a lovely afternoon making fairy cakes and ginger biccies. I might put some in a box and drop them off at the school for the teachers as they are really lovely (the teachers, cakes not bad either ).

Hi all, popping in quickly just to update & say hi.

DS2 is fine, so far. Had his grids put in this morning, and hooked up to the monitors this afternoon. Kindly performed some seizures later on

(there is a very remote possibility that if they get enough info they could bring the second op forward so we are wishing for lots of seizures....!)

He did have a slight temp this evening so bloods taken and sent off to check for infection

Surgeon popped by to say all went well.

Just the long-haul of monitoring and keeping him comfortable for now - on morphine, paracetamol & neurofen + anti-sickness too. poor thing. also knackered as he won't sleep properly so a couple of days down on naps.

Connection not great in hosp so hope i can keep you updated.

Oh and at Christmas being over already!!!

I did it, YEY!! So proud of myself as I was abit nervous when I got in as CAB man wasn't there but they were lovely and I got it allowed again, thanks everyone for your support

Off today to see my nannie, although it look like it is going to snow so might not get anywhere, she lives by the sea so no snow for her but I would be afraid of no being able to get home again even though my car would manage through it, I don't like taking the risk
