8 year old visitor has been no trouble at all and has just completed her 4th puzzle.

What a yukky job going through paper works! Reminders of things you really want to forget! Always makes me feel edgy!!!!
Chairs have not arrived TG! Ds wanted to stay in after school club. Going to phone them now and continue with filing bank statements. I had them spread around the downstairs among fun things to do articles in mags & newspapers! Now it time to make some order of them.

Despite both DCs being full time at school now I still feel like I've been rushing. Will it ever get more relaxed?

-finish and post the letter I was dreading writing most out of the two

-take DD to ballet and do DS reading book there

OSAHM I'm sure it will soon. It all seems like constantly tread mill doesn't it. I never seem to get to do really fun things. That why I worked so hard on Saturday just to be able to go for a country walk on Sunday. I've done no cooking at all this weekend or today. Have a week off cooking it can sometimes free up some valuable time. Ds's Birthday is on 6th October and I've done nothing towards it!

OSAHM - don't worry, there is always a big mental/ practical backlog when they first go fulltime, it doesn't seem that relaxing.
I went for a coffee with a friend (dcs at a different school) that first morning the twins went to Reception (3 years ago! yikes!), and said to the friend, this of course is the last time we will dare to admit we aren't busy - from now on, we will be officially busier than ever. I see her less now than I ever did when we had toddlers - neither of us have any time to meet for a coffee anymore . (Although I did go to the fringe with her 8 months ago

TM - seems that your ds2 is just a bit under the weather, I'm sure he will really enjoy Pre-School when he is feeling better.
Or maybe afternoons could be changed to mornings?
