Friend round for coffee before swimming, which was lovley
All laundry done and ironed
Towels and swimsuits on the line drying

Me and DS2 have been playing, as he is very clingy, but doesnt want to do anything crafty - bah humbug

I am going to collect DS2 with healthy snacks and then off to the park it is to get rid of all that extra energy

Well I seem to speed up with my tasks as the day goes on, even though I feel really dopey after about 3pm as though I've been drugged!

These have all been DONE:

  • Empty and clean bin
  • Bleach shower tiles
  • Wipe hair out of bath (cleaned on Monday but looks dirty again when bits of hair stuck to it)
  • DS and my lunch
  • Pay Orange bill
  • Pay Next bill
  • Iron DH's shirt for tomorrow
  • Backup laptop files
  • Collect DD from school
  • Some flute practice
  • DD's reading book
  • DD's school dinner choices form and cheque for next week
  • Children's dinner
  • Get stuff ready for flute choir

Got more done than I thought today as friend had to cancel 'playdate' this pm. DH is home on time so soon I can go out to flute choir and 'escape' it all! Just got dinner to make later for DH and I as we eat separately from the children on Weds.

I feel quite good about today

SimplyIsGoingToLearnToFLY · 09/09/2009 20:54

Oh boy am I going to get confused as I've treated myself to a glass and a half of red wine tonight! Bear with me, folks!

RR Oh, I remember (just) the years when I made home made cards with long handwritten letters for lots of people (if you want to avoid my situation then don't move far away from everyone you know and don't do your family history and treble your Christmas card list as a result) and had a stash of ELC things ready for Christmas presents! Maybe I'll get organised this year! [hopeful]

scattyspice I don't know why that link works sometimes and not others.

here is the link again

I have also bought this pair but please don't say they look nicer even though they do as I can't walk in them! I am going to return them with the 2nd choice dress tomorrow unless I learn to walk in heels at the ripe old age of {cough}. Sorry about that.

galen I am unbelievably rubbish at identifying dog breeds. To me, it's either a border collie, a Heinz 57 or something else!

go I hope your afternoon and evening were good ones for you today.

Hey, I've just checked and I've completed my list for today. See you tomorrow.

wendyhappysmile · 09/09/2009 21:37

Looks like England football team will be off the World Cup then. Back from yoga. Scraped my car on the gatepost. Bugger.
Oh well, I've just eaten some bread for the first time in 3 weeks - twas very yummy.
see you all tomorrow.
It's nice to see you again Galen - after your absence you've been on here a lot today

littleboyblue · 09/09/2009 22:05

Hi all
Sorry for absence, laptop got hit with a virus so had to get the whole thing wiped clean and re-loaded.
Still doing bits here, but making up my own missions as I couldn't get on.
Ds2 is sitting on his own now, so all is getting easier.
I also started helping out at my local children's centre. Just answering phones and things until my CRB check comes back. Thed boys come with me, but it gets us out of the house, so all good.

Hope you are all well x

Starbear · 09/09/2009 22:27

Wendy I'm sure DH suggested I went to the council meeting so he could watch the footy
grouchy I hope your going to book another band to see very quickly. I love pub bands but don't get out often enough
ActingNormal You go girl!
Simply Liked the Clark shoes alot.
dyls Sorry, it will be a long time before I love a snail again after what they did to my garden, last year!
Only these things to carry over.
Tidy Ds's room
Wash Food recycle bin
Should really do some ironing
I don't know how I manage to fit work into my normal week!

SimplyIsGoingToLearnToFLY · 09/09/2009 22:34

lbb I'm thinking of volunteering and would need to be crb checked first. I'll look at the form later this week. Did it take you long to complete and did you have to include references?

whs Sorry to hear that you scraped your car. I hope that it is either hardly noticeable or easy to fix.

I'd forgotten to put "Walk the dog" on the list but I've now done that. Off to bed!

Starbear · 09/09/2009 22:55

Ibb Hi, wondered where you got to but was to shy to ask. See you all in the morning.
Off to drink Horlicks and get ready for a new school dawn

littleboyblue · 10/09/2009 06:53

simply No, took a few minutes and the notes to help you fill it in said they no longer needed references to complete a check so you can leave all that section blank now.
