whyme2 I only started FLYing about a month ago and have really got into. I am a bit obsessive mind you and only yesterday realised I was getting far too excited and doing way too much. My flat is cleaner and tidier, but I feel good knowing there is a focus and an achievable goal to each day iyswim. Before, I was doing 1 room a day and by that I mean hoovering, polishing, and whatever else, so although I was ontop of the surface cleaning and tidying I could never find the time to wipe walls down or wash my skirting boards, but now it is all included.
Just start on the babysteps, do 1 a day and take it slowly. You will be amazed at the small things you find yourself doing as a result of something as simple as keeping your sink shiny. Goodluck
I started not long after I'd been diagnosed with PND and it has done wonders for my control. It really got me thinking about how I do things too. I have spent 15 mins a day every day this week in my closet, I was dreading it, I didn't even knoiw what was in there, but now it is all tidy, de-cluttered and organised.
Tort I have a massive folder crammed with colouring-in pictures printed from the cbeebies website. Saves a few £ on colouring books and ds1 loves it because he recognises the characters. Not that he spends all day infront of the telly.........honest
galen Sorry about your FIL
prof I think I'd text. Regardless of outcome, I'm sure she'd be grateful to know pwople are thinking of her.

swanriver · 26/06/2009 19:38

I think if you send her a text, she doesn't have to answer it but at least she knows you are thinking of her.TPT

Well done for sticking to your principles Scatty.

Well done on course Starbear, goodness it is beginning to feel like a phew Friday.

We have been swimming after very hot fete bottle shifting. Lovely to be back in the water, I was putting it off again, but despite bad hair [smiles]allround

Hello to all. Or should that be "Good evening all"

I'm using this thread as a boot up the bottom so here's my list.

Done:-
~ ring re: file collection
~ ring one dsis
~ ring lady re: piano

To do list:-
~ order bed and mattress
~ order new bed linen
~ start decluttering the spare bedroom
~ holiday planning
~ ring dsis re: furniture

Tomorrow is going to start with loading the trailer with a trip to the dump! Oh, I live an exiting life, me!

SimplyIsATalentedBuzzard · 26/06/2009 23:08

Ooops! That should be "loading the trailer ready for a trip to the recycling centre".
