Mornin'

Haven't bothered with lists the past 2 days as have done nothing but the basics, not sure I'm going to accomplish much more today tbh (period ).

MM poor you, is medical advice never or just not yet?

JKS a friend with a baby dd's age recently told me that she used to hate seeing me and dd when they were babies/1 year olds because dd was doing stuff months ahead but they are exactly the same now they are 3. Hopefully now your ds2 is diagnosed and on medication he'll be awake more and have more time to learn stuff. Although they do say that sleep is when they process everything so just think of all that assimilated information he must have in his head just waiting to come out!

Ithink (how do you want us to abbreviate you btw?) we have the same. I had a massive clear out before Christmas and then ds' birthday presents and the christmas stuff all had a home. Then one of my friends and one of my cousins decided to hand on all the stuff that they had cleared out so I had a houseful again.

Hi everyone else

morningsun · 23/07/2009 10:42

morning all

Basic
wash up
wash1 on
wipe sides
sweep floor
wipe bathroom

PlumBumMum · 23/07/2009 10:50

ithinkmydaughterispeppapig I think Peppa is a nice shortened verison

Hi Wasting sometimes I feel like the lists aren't working, sometimes I feel like they just remind me that all I seem to do is try and get housework done, but yesterday I got loads done plus had a lovely day with dcs so I have a new burst of energy

Clairey I'm still waiting on mine! It has been getting progressively later each month which is a pain because it means every month I'm wondering should I buy a bloomin test

everyone up done
breakfast done
washed & dressed done
read some library books with dcs done
put dishwasher on done
dcs clearing bedroom floors doing

mop bedroom floors
mop bathroom floors
see if I have enough powder for another wash
if so put on a wash

KITCHEN
unload dishwasher
load breakfast dishes
clean tidy kitchen
Brush floor
possibly mop

dry remaing damp clothes from yesterday
Hoover
Iron at least 1 basket of washing!

Right off to mop and hoover, not allowed back on MN until at least those jobs are done

MuppetsMuggle · 23/07/2009 11:02

JKS Chin up, you can do it

Clairy Just not now. However, I had an earlyish menopause at 19 so will tests have showed I will have alot of difficulty conceiving naturally. DD was a complete and wonderful surprise, so having another one would be fab - i'd like another 2 really.

JustKeepSwimming · 23/07/2009 11:08

MM - thanks & wow at having DD at all, hope things get calmed down soon so you can at least try again

Clairey - how was the landlord visit then?

Right, may try some ironing while ds1 watches tv - lazy of me but he's happy and i get stuff done, hopefully dh will take him out when he gets back....

MuppetsMuggle · 23/07/2009 11:23

JKS yeah she was a complete surprise, would love another surprise in a couple of years too

ithinkmydaughterispeppapig · 23/07/2009 11:36

Ali I can remember my mum doing that too and yes I do rant about all the tidying too.

Happy birthday to your DS, I always get a little emotional on DCs birthdays, I think the first can be the worst, I have got DS1 going into his teens, DS2 going into double figures (10) and DS3 turning 1 all inbetween early sept and late oct. I am going to be an emotional wreck.

JKS Whenever I try to sort out the toys, whatever I try to donate becomes my DCs favourite

MM at you not needing to do alot,

clairey I don't mind really, although I quite like PBMs idea of peppa, I was thinking pig, but being called a pig all the time might get to me eventually

online shop
make beds
run DW
run WM
tidy everywhere
lunch
dinner
clean bathroom done
clean kitchendone
scrub off the dryed on weetabix on DS3 highchair (I missed the bit on the seat)

cikecaka · 23/07/2009 11:51

ALI, Happy Birthday to your DS, I nomally spennd the last week of June in depression because of the 3 birthdays here. DD3 is not until Feb. MuppetsMuggle · 23/07/2009 12:02

Ithink the only thing I need to do is some ironing but that can wait.

DD has taken herself back off to bed and is watching Mary Poppins

I really have got quite a lot to do but i am completely shattered! I thought it would be a good idea to muck the horses out this morning and have DD 'helping' me so she got a bit of fresh air and exercise. Well, it took me 2hrs(!!!) to muck out 2 stables and take a barrow of hay up to the field because i was constantly having to steer DD away from various things and chasing after her. I am completely done in!
