Sorry for everything I've missed - but I can promise you I'm BACK now

No chance to read (esp as my dad insists on reading over my shoulder whenever I try to use the computer ) but just marking my spot and will try to catch up at weekend when am back home. Hope you are all well and maintaining slatternly levels ( I think I'll reach new heights of slatternliness after a week of not having to do much housework )

Plum - we are looking at a Dyson. We've got one at the moment, but it's an old cylinder one which DH had before we met. It's getting knackered and I want an upright, it is easier for stairs because of a special long hose . There are some good deals on Amazon at the moment.

Alice - I just read through, sorry you are a bit . Sounds like it's for the best though.

I'm being very slatternly today, been watching Cbeebies with DS and having cuddles.

Afternoon Ladies.

I've not done to much today, my back is total agony have put the washing on tho and packed half our bag ready for our weekend away. DP is enjoying his day out at Goodwood Festival of Speed as I've not heard from him except this morning to tell me he'd seen David Coultard & Bruno Senna lol.

So tired but DD has been so well behaved and I have the hiccups and they won't go away

You have an ironing angel though - where are they from?!

Mostly teen-children of neighbours.
They rather awkwardly go off to uni and jobs and things. Like a 2 week holiday from this weekend, grr.
But current lad has a younger sister ready to take over once he goes to uni so i should be sorted for a few years - and they only live 5 doors down so i don't have to drive them home/send them home in our taxi. had to do that with several for a while.

JKS She just fell from the sky. Someone knew I needed her. TBH I used them when heavily pregnant and until baby was 6 weeks but was so behind that I had to use them again.

Oh, I've not got many neighbours but there is one who may do it.

Morning all! I didn't report back yesterday, but mostly successful and I've got the milkman to come for payment every four weeks to coincide with CB and CTC week, rather than his arbitrary fortnightly systems. I love it when a plan comes together.

Morning everyone, of you and your neighbourly babysitters, My neighbours are all old farmers, and any of my teen cousins who would be of babysitting age would probably be too afraid to babysit at my house as they are all 'townies'

My mum is here, so will be back later with my list, dh has just arrived home but has stayed outside in the workshop!

Hi. Internet down here for a couple of days hence the lack of posting.

Managed to do some gardening today for 30 mins and thats about it. Looked after DS most of the day while DH did some DIY. Just had to have a nap myself to recover.

Everyone has been busy this weekend.
We went upto visit my aunt & uncle in Northampton had a good weekend all except on saturday my back and legs were so back I couldn't walk unaided I was in soo much pain that it made me sick too, at one point I was lent back against a wall and my legs went from under me thankfully my aunt was stood nearby and caught me. still in alot of pain today and having trouble walking unaided again but have the physio tomorrow so hopefully he can do something about it.
