Hi, everyone, DH is on hols this week so we have just been to the beach! Havent done anything since sunday bar wash a few dishes. We ae off on Thurs to a wedding in Donegal for 2 nights

Sympathies to Muppets for the MIL situation. It's always hard. Mine is lovely and looks after DD 1 day a week when I'm at work. I'm really grateful to her, but she came round this morning, grabbed DD off me and said 'how's my little girl today' and then when I got home told me at lenght what a lovely day they'd had and how DD hadn't missed me at all. Well had a very boring night last night

Told DP he's a mummys boy and can't we tell MIL is home - he wasn't impressed but knew I was right in what I was saying as he had his look on his face grrr.

I took pride in telling him I had to cook for 1 last night - generally he uses this line when it comes to him going to his mums its better to cook for 3 than 2. So I told him I only cooked a meal for me (it was only pasta) no point in making anything bigger. I think he was sorry lol.

Life will be back to normal now shes home

Well DS2 crashed early so is having an emergency nap before pre-sch drop-off. hope that means we can get to the supermarket and home in time for him to have another nap before pre-sch pick-up.
It's tough trying to fit his need for sleep around everything else.

Crap night here all me and dp do is snipe at each other and my Mum has turned into a complete looninstead of just a part time loon .
DD4 was up most of the night I thought it was the heat but she threw up at 5am she is fine now but don't know if I should send her to nursery ?
I have also just discovered DD2 wet the bed last night so have loads of washing to sort .
Oh and I have no bloody clothes to wear because nothing fits me .

DD was sick at 4am yesterday and kept being sick in the morning but seemed completely recovered by lunchtime when she demanded chocolate. Hope your dd is ok.

Me and DP are ok really just had a bit of a bitch at each other this morning.It is because we are tired .

My dbro wouldn't stay last night he rang this morning to see if I could give him some busfare to get to his course I missed the call . Turns out my Mum has locked him in again so he has had to climb out the window and is now on his course after walking to the other side of town with nothing for dinner or anything to drink all day not even a bottle of water in this heat .

My Dsis is trying to get in touch with my Dad to try and get him to come home this weekend and we are both trying to get him to come and stay with one of us .

DP just set off for work and is going to look for him on his way as he sometimes bumps into him and give him some money .
I actually hate my Mum right now.

Morning all! Seems like this hot weather may be making a few of us a bit irritable with our DPs - I know I am! If only I had a pool in the garden [dreaming wildly emoticon]

Anyway, finished off yesterdays list but didn't quite manage to do any of mailout or 30 mins on exercise bike. So, not too bad, all in all. Also, when making DS's meals, made chicken stock from scratch which I then strained from the saucepan down the sink instead of into a bowl . In my defence, it was the end of a long day!
