What is the best way to get rid of felt tip/pen marks on white clothes?

DD has come back from school with black and blue felt tip pen marks all over her white shirt. What do you ladies find works? and more importantly can I buy it in a Co-op or Somerfield?

there is a Stain devil specially for felt tips and biros - would probably be able to get it in a larger supermarket

Peg them out after stain removing and washing in the sunshine...you remember sunshine..that big hot yellow thing hanging in the sky?

Apparently Biro ink is soluble in milk, not sure about felt pen ink - might be worth a try. You can definitely buy it in Co-op / Somerfields

Hairspray sprayed through the material from behind the stain is supposed to work.

have heardthat fairy liquid works on just about anything if you rub it in before wash.
