Morning ladies. Hope you don't mind the newbie starting. I am very excited to have now completed the babysteps! I may now start working on the missions.
I have a bit of work to do in my journal, but it will change regularly due to the childrens ages and developing needs, so not set in stone.
Hope you all have a good day.
Off now to finish my morning routine and write a to do list.

Can't seem to get motivated today. Half past one already and not much done atall. Prob cos I haven't written a list!

dd1 and dd2 are off with five lads to walk up the hills. Have all taken a picnic and plan to go paddling in the river.

dd3 and dd4 have a double dance lesson in a couple of hours. Show is in two weeks

Right here goes.

Done:

Made my bed
Quick tidy downstairs
Lunch
Dropped off dd1 and dd2
errm that's about it...

To do:

Hoover downstairs and up
Dust downstairs and up
Swish and swipe both bathrooms
Sort out dance stuff
Go to bank
Sort out bags of clothes for giving away
Take dd3 and dd4 to dancing
Go shopping
Dinner

Groan - My FLY-mobile seems to be all out of gas and I can see the world speeding past me as I grind to a halt! I'm stuck in Chaos Alley. Waiting for a lift if anyone's Flying by?

Deinfitely lost the plot this week - half-term and Monday's bday have cuaght me off guard. Ooh and it was all going so well.

Love to all and hope you are having productive days. x

grouchyoscar · 03/06/2009 15:00

Back from Reading Friends. Had a wonderful breakthrough with one pupil's confidence levels which makes it worthwhile.

DS has to be collected in an hour so I'm selfishly grasping this me time. Tomorrow AM I'm working so.....

Laters ladies

Sometimes the fly-wagon just breaks. No problem with that you just get back on where you got off - so to speak

Dyls You always make me pine for a nanna, I used to love DH's gran so, but both mine were dead before I was even born

Anyway

Ironing done - still to put away
DS2's bed changed
Washer on
Opticians visited - DS2 needs new stronger specs and is a little wobbly from the drops
Dinner cooking - spag bol
Hotspot x2

To Do

Mission
PUT Ironing away
Evening routine
cream DS2 again and give piriton
relax for the nightClear fridge
Menu plan for tomorrows shopping and write shopping list

Hiya everyone
Well cost of oven door doesn't seem cost effective - handle alone is £60! over £200 to replace it all - doesn't seem worth it with the cost of ovens being quite cheap, and doesn't seem to be worth claiming on the insurance for - would rather get a new oven of my own choice than a replacement of the one there or a repair - spent a while at local electrical shop discussing it this morning.
My mum was useful too, she had children whilst I went to discuss oven, then she took them to the park whilst I nipped to Tesco to buy a new mop - which broke with overuse mopping up wee last week! I had another £10 off £30 to spend, and managed to spend £30.79

DS been horrid horrid today, he is super tired I think, but that doesn't help
mad those drops are awful aren't they
dyls you made me miss my nan, who died 15 years ago, and I still miss her . Nans really rock. My DC love their Nanna (my mum)
epimum sounds like you need a break today - ugh what a day!
laura like the metaphor! Just hitch a lift for for petrol and get it started again
gibbb you're right about lists - they so work!
grouchy hi! thought of you today at Wilton Park!

To do
Yoga
Sweep the hall
Routines
Menu planning
watch the apprentice - interview one!!
bed early! managed 11 last night which was early!

see you tomorrow

scattyspice · 03/06/2009 18:27

Hi all.

Enjoying the sunshine is a perfectly valid reason for not flying.

Epimum - sorry your dh is being made redundant . Does he have anything else lined up?

Gig - lucky dd1 and dd2.

oops, trouble ....bbl!

scattyspice · 03/06/2009 19:09

Right, where was I?...

Mad - your Birkenstock collection.

Wendy - new oven would be cheaper.

DS seems to be improving all the time. GP said his appetite should return in a few days, if not to go back (I hope he doesn't get any thinner).

Done:

Oh no now what! TSK! BBL

galen · 03/06/2009 19:43

oh boy.... I need some serious FLY rescuing!
House in chaos again... lol Still agree with all that making most of nice weather, and more fun time with Dc outside is good for all...house will wait!

Have sorted some stuff for sale/ebay/carboot
played in the garden with DS this pm
then began bedroom swap/sort out....TOTAL chaos! toys and clothes everywhere! Still will get it finished tomorrow and will do beds at weekend!

Also rang homeserve to come and sort out heating that keeps coming on with the water despite being turned off
And rang costco to find out what documents dh needs to join....now just got to pursaude him to a family outing to costco at wk/end \lol

tomorrow:
buy present for Dd's friends bday party
finish bedroom chaos
nappy wash

right shall go and sneeze and snuffle some more....darned hayfever

see you all tomorrow

littleboyblue · 03/06/2009 20:09

Evening all. I have had a really good day. I have done everything on my list! Yay. I managed to wipe the walls in the hallway along with doors and skirting boards, ds1 followed me and was hlping with a babywipe, he is 22 months so was very funny!
We went to the park at 1:30 and then to playgroup 3:30-5 and ds1 had dinner there, ds's both in bed, me and dp have had dinner, I've done my evening routine of cleaning kitchen, laying out tomorrows clothes for all 4 of us and have decided on dinner tomorrow.
I read some of you are having some time off and taking full advantage of weather, so not gloating, but I fel really good! I feel like I've had such a productive day, can't believe I did everything I wanted to and still had good time with ds's.
I'm also going to try to spend 15 mins a day on control journal and allocating days to certain jobs. I need to decide what I want to do daily and what I'm happy to do weekly and break it all down into manageable routines.

Not doing anything else today, so the work on journal will have to start tomorrow. I was bad and typed it all, just because then it's easier to change when family needs change and you find easier ways to do omething.

good night all see you all on thursday's thread

swanriver · 03/06/2009 21:34

So glad you had a good day lbb, it's so great to get stuff done and then get out rather than just floundering as is sometimes the case, and then jumping ship...

Afternoon has gone very well, partly because there has been no homework and no school tomorrow (Polling day at our school). So Wednesday hasn't felt like a dreadful race.

Done
Work at school library pretending to be David and Goliath, and then a wicked Stepmother - a complete workout really!
Invited friend's dcs round on spur of moment to play, and when she returned at 5.00 had a lovely chat with her - gave kids some teaish sort of meal
Bit of a mad rush to Beavers with a Brownie a Cub and a Beaver but that was FUN too
More suppery snacks afterwards
Read some stories and put everyone to bed by 9.00 with no bath (swimming tomorrow

Otherwise nothing done on my extras list except ratatouille.
But Swept front path
Loaded dw
Taken in laundry and put away some of it
Ironing pile growing bigger but at least in a place where I'm not tripping over it

Just need to tidy everything up now before dh gets back from work do..

Wolfcub · 03/06/2009 22:06

evening all

long long day at work today, out of house before 7.30am home after 8.30pm

done

dw unloaded reloaded and on
ds taken to granny's
dusted whole of downstairs (don't be too impressed its not that big)
done 45 mins ironing

birthday tomorrow sob.

swanriver · 03/06/2009 22:12

Galen, it is exciting though isn't swopping round furniture tis like buying new stuff really..
and I've really tried not to mind mess today - I just keep chipping away at it slowly. I think if someone I didn't know came round they would think the house was never cleaned at all...I suppose it is all just relative.

Now sink tackling.

wendyredkitchenredspots · 03/06/2009 22:46

You are working so hard wolf are things any better? Happy birthday for tomorrow!
swan bet your house isn't that bad at all!
llb you are an inspiration with your control journal!

Apprentice was good, yoga good, not eaten any naughty stuff today ... sick of hearing about MPs on the news so probably off to bed now! See you tomorrow

dylsmum1998 · 04/06/2009 08:25
