No progress at the moment, well some but nothing worth speaking of!

procrastinated and instead went on lakeland and bought a small fortune's worth of E-clths, cleaning equipments etc and then went to Homebase and bought storage boxes to tackle toys!

Shopping done so that's one thing.

Prof - very impressed with your silversmithing creativeness.

Tort - well done on the Wii! yay!

Wolf - 5am???? Way too early

Good afternoon everyone
TheProfiteroleThief How heart breaking. Sound like a lovely gift.

Okay gone to the garden centre Must Must plant them tomorrow come hell or high water (I bet it will be high water) I can't have DH accusing me of wasting money. Did put a clematis back as its not hardy enough for my life style at the mo.
Its now 4.30pm a quick cupper before the afternoon chores.
Can I make fish pie in time for DS's tea Other wise it will be fish & mash potatoes which is still okay.
Fold clothes
Pumpkin soup
water plants
Day off tomorrow and have major spring cleaning planned so will try & get up extra early.
Enjoy tea time everyone {wink]

swanriver · 18/05/2009 18:15

had a knackering afternoon
work at school
then dcs in a foul/needy mood after school, and required major defusing

So
have read two stories to dd
supervising dtwns playing together
supervised homework for ds1
supervised violin p for ds1
served tea (casserole which went down well thank goodness)

Snippets of conversations overhead chez nous
dd screaming why won't SOMEONE play with me
ds2 replying, can't you see I'm busy with my cars?
ds2 demanding more cheese on his pasta, mummy saying there wasn't any more, him snapping back THEN BUY SOME, then apologising to irate mummy by doing a Billy Elliott dance accompanied by words Thank yououou for my loooovely tea

More screaming now.
Ds1 to Cubs (being picked up
Ds2 in bath I think

Also I am now feeling very fed up about the hoover. will try garden hose trick before giving up on it.

swanriver · 18/05/2009 18:17

and hello Starbear and Harley, you seem in good spirits! I often resort to not quite asssembled dishes, carbonara once became just pasta with bacon and eggs, and was much enjoyed like that!
