The dog has soaked the mattress.

Any advice on how to remove both stain and odour would be much appreciated.

I've put some bicarbonate of soda on it at the moment but I'm not sure that'll make much difference.

eughh dog pee? so sorry! with human urine i blotted as much as possible with old towel and then sponge scrubbed with clothes detergent, blotted moisture again and covered area with bicarb soda and left to dry near a window, vaccumed off residue and it was fine. no pong and no stain

good luck!

I always use vinegar, it works wonders. You spill it on, you pick up as much of the liquid as you can with a towel, then you let it dry. WHen it's completely dry, you put the bicarbonate of soda, for as long as you can, and just vacuum clean. It sounds a bit comlicated but its a natural and healthy way to do it. The smell of the vinegar also goes after a while.

I think I would buy a new mattress tbh and get rid of the dog!
