I am loving having my house back to myself. I hope you are all well today.

Today I want to

wash my car done
clean the little loo done
sort out the animals food and water done
put away the laundry done
Extra - cleaned out the hamster done

Have done

emptied and reloaded dishwasher
put the washing on

Right, have started kitchen detailed clean. Won't get it all done today but can finish tomorrow. Bought serious grime busting stuff for oven and rubber gloves so mean business!

To do:

Clean tiles
Clean cooker hood
Empty and clean fridge
Clean microwave in and out
Clean oven
Clean inside cupboards/drawers and straighten
Wash cutlery tray
Wash window frames and window
Scrub down cabinet fronts

Wash skirting boards
Hoover floor and cobwebs
Wash floor

Also to do:

Collect dd2 from riding
Weekly shop
Drop and collect dd3 and dd4 to/from dancing
Hoover
Dust
Washing
Ironing (only got tiny bit)
Swish and swipe bathrooms
Wash floors

Ok off to clean tiles before collecting dd2!

Have been to the park after preschool -= before it rains again

We are going to meet DH at Macro at 4pm and then all go for dinner together

Lunch is in the oven - fish bites, potaoes and carrotts

Boys are in different rooms watching different DVDs

There, is that better - this was my original name for years, had a bad patch and changed - didn't come on MN for ages and was too lazy to change back! Which goes to show how much I am slacking at the moment

Sink is shiny - just waiting to take ds to nursery and get minded child down for a nap.

Next: Read book as DS2 seems to have gone for another nap (guess getting up at 5.30 am tired him too!)

Hi ehm dd1 is well on the mend thanks. Is out shopping with her friend today. Need to contact breast nurse re prosthesis though. Now that the swelling is going down there is quite a difference in size so she is definitely going to need one now that summer is coming up i.e. bikinis and strappy tops...

Afternoon ladies.
Well it seems someone somewhere has determined my weeek should be filled with as many extra challenges as possible
Went to collect DC from school , to be told by nursery teacher DD4 wasnt very well and had been asleep on the cushions.Sure enough she was pale as a ghost and threw up everywhere in the car within 2 mins of setting off for home.She is now asleep on the sofa. She was totally FINE this morning - odd.
Really hoping it is short lived and doesnt spread to the others.And PLEASE dont let it be a "being sick every hour ALL night" kind of bug!
Right have fish fingers in oven, spuds boiling and frozen peas steaming YAY for emergency freezer food!

That sounds delicious ehm! Dinner is on - gammon roast with mash, carrots, brocolli, sweetcorn and loads of gravy.

Finished clearing and cleaning out all cupboards yay! I will actually be able to find stuff now Very pleased. Unbelievable the amount of rubbish that came out.

Off to hoover and clean floors. So so glad that is all done.

Aw galen poor dd. Hope it doesn't spread around everyone else too!

Galen poor DD4 hope a good snuggle on the sofa helps fix things, Am with you on the Yay for fish fingers, I have potato waffles peas and fishfingers int eh freezer at all times for emergency meals

dd is playing incredibly happilly with her friend in garden in sandpit EXCELLENT

Just wanted to say thanks for the encouragement and words of sympathy re. juggling children and housework - great tips TMH and glad to know I'm not alone scattyspice et al!! I had a bit of an 'ah-ha' moment as I realised that I've probably made it worse by not using a timer...... so I shall try that in order to keep housework frenzy in place. (Can't believe a slattern like me is talking about housewrok frenzy - look what FLying does to you!

I was up from 3,15 till 4.40 last night my insomnia is back - always around when I get more depressed. So I am upping my sleeping tablets - on doctors orders.

cancelled the GP for DS1, as I needed to dash to the bank and move cash around to avoid massive bank charges and bouncing direct debits - double eek
