GALEN - brightly coloured potato pots were bought last year, and called "tubtrugs". I got them from garden centre/Homebase for toy storage etc but they seem v. expensive when I look on internet now eek. Flexible with handles, I put holes in bottom with knife.
Friend used any lightweight storage bag like a large tesco recycling bag for example. with holes
I would plant them in ground if I could, but no open ground available in this garden.

hehe I did really well with it the first time round but just cant seem to find my mojo again

I have even taken to creating printed routines and sticking them in my diary and have even downloaded Flylady's homeblessing hour and crisis clean podcasts that I listen to and she makes me work haha

mad You should take it easy for the afternoon if you are feeling not so good. dd1 is fine thanks. Has gone with her friend up the town this afternoon - her first trip out Was worried about letting her go but she is going crazy staying in. And her wound is healing nicely

I have just got back from taking the mini mads to the park - they loved it and are now in the sand pit again. Oh how much difference the sun makes, bubbles, sand and sun - perfect

swan - I'm doing ok. Just had tea with girls which helps. Otherwise I would be hungry and tired later.

Mini's had a fun time with the sand and bubbles and helped me plan some of their seeds. Need to leave the rest for DH as I can not manage the compost.

Kettle boiled and waiting for DH to hand over my parenting

I want to try and get some baking done this evening, as he has some wages to sort for a friend.

Just sprayed everywhere with Raid to attempt to stop the dratted ants getting everywhere this summer. Hate them - they crawl all over the kitchen worktops! Last year I found eggs lain inside my dishwasher then towards the end of the summer we had thousands and thousands - literally - of flying ants emerge from underneath our slabs. They were absolutely everywhere. Urgh.

Going to do the ironing whilst watching the tv tonight. A glass of wine will assist.

Gibb Have you tried parallel stretch on muscle workout? That is a killer! Managed 40 secs though.

No but did try the one where you balance on one leg with the other bent in front of you then quickly stretch it out behind you - do it about 20 times before you fall over! I wasn't much good at that either

No i don't think i have tried that. Will have a go later. Planning to some lunges too. Maybe even press up side stand too.

On train on the way back from the big smoke. Thanks to da having an unsettled night I have been awake since two am and had to get up at 4 to catch the train. Should get home about quarter past ten. I am a sleepy wolf

I couldnt do as much baking as I have no more butter or caster sugar, so that has gone on the shopping list , but I have lemon and poppyseed scones in the oven - yummy.

Boys went to bed like a dream, DH has finnished his work (which was quick) and we are going to have a nice peaceful early night. He has driven to York this AM and then Bishop Aukland this afternoon and has a massive headache . I love my man.

That should have said should NOT bake yummy treats lol!

House is gleaming today! Won't have much to do tomorrow so am leaving the ironing until then

dd2 and dd4 have their dance medal presentation event tomorrow evening so will need to go out tomorrow and buy some red bobbles for their hair. Apart from that not much else to do!
