Hello everyone, welcome Frank

It's raining here now too, got soaked up at the horses.
DD is teething quite badly again, another molar coming hrough and today all she seems to be doing is grizzling, she is happier now she has had more calpol and a decent nap.

Everyone up done
Everyone breakfast done
Everyone dressed done
Washload on done
Empty dishwasher DH done
Strip beds
Wash sheets
General tidy round
Empty bathroom bin
Put DD washing away (i struggle with this as i can only do it when DH is here to keep dd out the way)
Lunch done
Horses - ride nope was raining
and muck out field done
Cook dinner
DD bed (going to have to stop bathing her so much as eczma (sp?) coming back)
Load dishwasher
Clean kitchen

As you can see have acheived very little

Flamestorm · 27/04/2009 15:44

alicecrail · 27/04/2009 15:45

Flamestorm · 27/04/2009 15:46

DS has kept either my bed company or the tv & sofa.

Poor kid must be going insane

claireybee · 27/04/2009 15:59

Wow so many posts! Have only skimmed so apologies if I don't respond to anyone.

Justkeepswimming we were in Gabs too, well Tlokweng but same difference! I worked for the Gazette but like your dh I hated my job and they are now very picky about letting foreigners work so I was pretty much unemployable. I was on a temporary work permit, got rejected for a permanent one and even after we got married they said I couldn't have a work permit because I didn't have any of the scarce skills on the list. SIL got married at Mokolodi in October last year, we went out for it and it was fantastic.

Trillian we may have crossed paths at the weekend if your parents still live near where you went to school? I was in Huish on Saturday, also visiting family.

Not much of a list here today as only came back from my mums at lunchtime but have put dinner on and unpacked half our stuff...

Well no more sick from dd2 so not sure what happened although she hasn't had much since toast, banana and a fig roll, hope they don't come back up

Welcome Frank Mustard

Aliba not sure we have a labrador, but hes getting on now (hes been blind for years) due to illness not age, so we don't want something too much for him, Sally was an Alsation/german shephard(don't know the deference)
I grew up with Alsations and never worried about them just now I've got dcs, think I would prefer a pup but don't know weither I want the trouble of a pup, we got Benz (our lab) as soon as he could leave his mum but I had no dcs then and I was still at uni so had plenty of time for him.
I just feel like its a bigger decision this time

JustKeepSwimming · 27/04/2009 17:48

Claireybee - we weren't married when in Gabs and i overstayed my 90 days, then there were all sorts of threats of expulsion (or forced marriage! which would actually have save dus a pretty penny and Mokolodi is suc a fab place to get married!) but they had a great system of putting my form to the bottom of the pile until DH's redundancy came through, then my form magically made it to the top and i had a date i HAD to leave by - the same date as the end of his contract...

AAARRRGGGHHH, blood pressure sky high, DD3 had no nap today so I took her for a walk, (without the reins)so she wouldnt sleep now , couldnt convince her to come back and then she walked straight out on the road, heart stopped for a second. Brought her back and she has spilt her drink all over the kitchen, hall and sitting room, had a couple of bowls sitting on the counter and she smashed them to the ground, dont know whether to scream or cry!

Be back in a while with my list

Raynauds is a circulatory thing - still researching on google!
