....somehow.
It is a white acrylic baby blanket with a pink motif and pink edging that my friend lent me when I had dd in October. I decided it had had enough use for something special that my friend wanted back and was worried DS (2yrs) would wreck it so I thought I'd wash it and put it away until I saw her.
So I washed it separately, 30 degree wash. non bio powder and hung it out on the line.
But when I got it in it had gone yellow. Totally. All over. Apart from the peg marks. I feel sick. Was it the sun? I always hang my washing outside when the weather permits and this has never happened before. . . .
Is there anything I can do to turn it white again? I have had a look on eBay etc for a replacement but my friend had it as a gift when she had her daughter in 2004 so (unsurprisingly) I can't get the exact same one.
Obviously I'll just have to own up if it can't be rectified.
Please help me.....
