a home for my party tomorrow night and i've no idea where to start.

Even my list making isn't cutting the job for me tonight.

I have general housework to do
I have boxes to unpack
I have to redo a wordsearch on the computer and email it to someone
I need to go to the shop (tomorrow obviously) and buy some more drinks/snacks for the party
I'm hoping to go and get my haircut
I need to go by my old house to pick up a sofa bed (well chair bed - it's a single) and bring it back balanced on the top of the pushchair (it's only a light foam filled one)
I need to take the DS's to school
I need to pick DS2 up from school (DS1 going to a friends)
I need to keep DS3 happy in among all that lot

and I would get off MN and do something - but I honestly don't know what to do first

Unpack two boxes tonight and two in the morning.

Tomorrow, get up early and prime yourself with coffee then do what you can without reaching burnout.

1.Only unpack what you need for yourselves and the party.

1. e-mail tonight
2. Do some general house work while the boys are in bed.
3. Get shop list and bags and vouchers ready tonight by the door for shopping tonight.

That should at least prepare you. Go to bed early!

reason I want to get my hair done is because it's my birthday party (birthday is Saturday) and I'm going out on the town after the party (most of the people coming aren't really "out on the town type" and they'll almost certainly have left by 11ish) with ShelleyLou...

No-one to send to the shops for me, or to take DS3.

Think I'm going to have a coffee and fag and start at the front of the house and work my way backwards

I would suggest pick one room of the house that no-one is allowed in.

Put everything you don't want seen into this room and shut the door and put a sign up saying Private on it.

That way it's all out of sight for your birthday and you can have a good day.
