OK, so how much do you pay your window cleaner?

Just had a very nice polite man round to quote - seems like a proper firm and all that - but they want £60 just to do the outsides ( £100 to do inside and out!)

Our house is emphatically not a mansion - it's a 3 bed Victorian terrace. We do have a side return extension with a fair amount of glass, but it's not huge.

Any recommendations for cheaper window cleaners in the Richmond/Twickenham area gratefully received! Or is that the going rate?

I thought my window cleaner was extortionate and he charges £16 per hour - super professional job, cleans the sills and frames as well and the windows sparkle (for 5 mins until it rains).

It's about £20 for the house (large 4 bed semi) but maybe another £10-15 for conservatory roof (including the nearly impossible to reach bits).

I don't think I could bring myself to pay £60!

I pay £13 every four weeks for a four bed detached with huge conservatory windows.

Having said that, the kitchen window, two bedroom windows and a bathroom window do not get cleaned as the conservatory runs just about across the back of the house.
