How do I clean up the grot that builds up

on the floor between the kitchen units and the fridge/oven/dishwasher? Whenever I'm cleaning the kitchen floor I always catch sight of the disgusting filthiness that is accumulating in those hard to reach places and it makes me feel quite queasy.

Not sure how to go about sorting it out though? (I really don't want to have to go moving my fridge and oven about)

A wired in cooker has a thicker than average wire. Ours has about a metre of it, so pulls out a fair way. Just look behind when you pull it out. Be careful and it should be fine. Clean sides of appliance at same time. I spray on flash bleach kitchen spray which I think is loads better than cilit bang!!

There has to be enough wire/pipe that is flexible enough for the cooker to come out at least a litle way - how else did it get fitted? Most will have enough slack they will come right out, as it makes life much easier for everyone.

Some of you must have some really BIG knives

We've got gas, but you can pull it out a fair way. Certainly enough to pull out and clean. I try to do it once a month. Washing machine, dishwasher and fridge haven't been done since we moved in though. Coming up 2 yrs now.

I have the same problem with a gas cooker. I'm just to scared that I'm going to snap the pipe when I move it and gas us all out.

I'm with Giraffes on this.
