Babysteps

Forgot to run DW or WM last night before bed, well I actually fell asleep on the sofa, so DH sent me up and then the phone went as he was doing it, SO that is my first job this morning.

Or you could just get a copy of Heat Magazine

Tort I have mine in the downsiats loo - alongside the sibling one. If things get bad I go lock myself in and read Only place I get peace TBH.

I wouldnt know who half the so called celebs are in Heat

Hello again

Tort I'm sure everything will be fine tomorrow I will hopefully be online to chat this eve from 7.30/8ish for about an hour before dh needs the comp (unless he gets his going)

Good ideas here and on the thread for entertaining your boys TMH, I can't think of anything to add - sorry.

I'm feeling really rather unwell now. Dd and ds are in the bath and thankfully dh has just arrived home to mind them for a bit while I have 10minutes peace.
School have sent a note home with ds that headlice have been found on a child in his class so we need to give them a decent hairwash and comb through tonight - something I could do without tbh.

Thanks Bianca. Sorry you are still feeling poorly. Mine are in the bath too. probably soaking the floor lol!

Good luck tomorrow Tort mad have replied on the thread with a few ideas
Bianca hope you're ok
Scatty Re: getting to school - someone mentioned a LIKE A BIKE - this is a brilliant thing - a bike with no pedals, my ds (4.3) has one as he also refuses to pedal a bike or trike. He goes everywhere on it, long distances etc and loves it. DD refuses her pushchair (since just over 1 really) and has a push along trike now (2.3)
all hello [waving emoticon]
Sorry if i've forgotten anything.
DS very tired again and is misbehaving in the bathroom, DD on my knee whilst typing. Time for stories and bed. They were both asleep at 6pm last night apparently (I was being serene at yoga! I was so relaxed my body was tingling! This new yoga teacher is fab)
Had an ok day, a bit hectic, DD still full of cold but went to toddlers.
Made a scrap book this aft of pics from Chester zoo - dc's favourite place - which was good.
Off to see my parents tonight for an hour, otherwise might catch up on a few recorded TV programmes.
Later

Oh I have finished our bedroom deep clean! Have I missed the kitchen in January? Might start on that tomorrow! I have so found my mojo these last few days.

Evening al!
tort wishing you loads of luck for tomorrow - hope all goes well.
Bianca hope your soon feeling better
wendy you're really storming on - well done!
swan treacle scones sound lovely - do you have recipe?
mad my (just) 3 yr old is enjoying fuzzy felt at the mo.Also agree sticker books were always popular with mine at that age. (get the ones where you can move the stickers round - they last longer!)
Also my DD likes a little Noahs ark with little wooden animals in ( small fabric ark , easy to carry) and a toy farm that packs away in a small fabric bag.We also have various lacing things - some with larger plastic pieces rather than little beads - she loves doing these. Oh and peg boards and pegs. What about a little doctors kit so they can play doctors at the hospital? Will try and think of some others when less tired!
Oh and really sorry cant remember who asked but I have 6 children !

Well I have had a busy day.
DH did manage to entertain DD for a fair bit this am so I cracked on! She loved the novelty of haveing DH at home and attached herself to him instead of me for the morning!
Got done:
Bleached, scrubbed and polished kitchen bin
Wiped down window frames and all woodwork in kitchen and dining room
cleaned dining room windows
De-gunked feet of dining room chairs ( quite a task!)
Swept and mopped floors.

Then DH crept back to bed!

This afternoon I went upstairs to fold and put washing away - done
Then went in DD 1and2's room to strip beds (not done!). But a bad thing hapened! DD4 and DS2 were playing nicely in there so I decided to just wipe down the window frame....then the door...then the skirting...but to do that I had to take everything out from under their cabin beds.....and then as everything was out I may as well do a good hoover....then I may as well sort through it all before I put it back...
You get the idea. Before you know it I was in the midst of chaos and it was school pick up time. Flylady would be cross! I took out far more than I could put away in time available!
Anyway managed to rescue situation after school pick up - thank goodness tea was in slow cooker!
Their room is lovely now....but I do have to remember to pace myself LOL

Anyway not doing anyhthing else tonight.
Going to read and loll on sofa....

Tomorrow need to:
Put last few clothes away in DD's room
Change DD 1 and 2's beds
clean washing sort
sort fridge and freezer
Toddler craft at megakidz
ought to bake if I get time...
And NO big projects!

Hope you all have good evenings...
See you tomorrow.

has sent me downstairs to cook supper
Most importantly everyone has been in good mood so far (although ds1 had apparently been behaving badly in school again and we went for quick play in park. Feels like Spring! How to Talk so That Your Children Will Listen is really on my mind at moment even if I haven't read the book.
Trying to make a chart of positives with Ds1 draw a line under yesterday, and start afresh with all the GOOD things he does, whilst reminding him of consequences of bad behaviour. Ticking off seems to leave no impressionn whatsoever, he just cries and sulks and then we forgive him and he starts all over again behaving badly...

Supper..

Ooh, I've been busy reading the religious thread, and you were all here posting

I'm used to this thread being deserted in the evenings...

Well, I tidied the bedroom, ds broke the blind, dp has his van brought home on the back of a truck, and dd2 demonstrated the 8yr old girl mood swings that I am becoming accustomed to.

All ready to start again in the morning
I hope it goes ahead as planned tomorrow tort.

Oh, I have solved the locked out problem....three of us on this streetb have each others keys, so if friend one is away I can still get into her house with friend 2s key and retrieve my spare

Can you tell we have all done this alot?
