For hanging up an entire load of washing on the airer, getting crosser and crosser that a few things hadn't washed properly and still had marks on. Slowly realised that things seemed very dry. Then realised that they were in fact completely dry, and that I hadn't actually washed them. The machine was turned off!

Now washing clothes that went in the machine when I was very very short of time at 8am.

how does having a workman out to fix radiators when it turns out the water pressure was too low compare?

i've done that 4arms, got to the rotary with a basket full of washing, slowly realised its' dry and dirty, scurried in before neighbours see me.

I sent my daughter upstairs to retrieve keys (it was rush out of the house for work and school o'clock) that were in fact right in front of me.....
