scattyspice · 07/01/2009 21:33

swan, galen and wolf you all sound shattered. Who was it who said that children use you up? How true!

I have just watched Waterloo Rd . I think I'm going to home ed mine LOL.

Night night.

TheNewYearNewMadHouse · 07/01/2009 21:34

Boys are fast asleep and all the bits for the phil and ted were finally discovered in the garage. We had a really nice cup of tea and chat with friends DH and showed him how it all goes.

Changed lamp bulb in car
Washer on

Gallen Lack of sleep and me defo dont mix. One of my issues is and has been insomnia, it really effects my depression and SAD. I am currently on medication to help me sleep, but the boys break through any sleeping aid - mummy radar DH calls it. Even when completly drugged up I will wake for them, even if he is sleeping in with one of them BC (before Children) I sleep like a log.

Also I am suffering from night sweats too, but my menopause self help book has arrived so I am off to read it and eat myself well

Wolf I think you have just summed up all two year olds.

I told DS" (2.6) that I was sick of shouting today and he went and asked DH if he was making him poorley too

scatty yep I'm shattered!
Also just watched Waterloo road - generally don't like schools but some are OK, LOL!
I did home ed mine for 2 years. ( Trust me if you think my house is bad now you should have seen it when they were all at home LOL) It was good fun actually, would maybe have done longer if I didn't have so many of them!

Right have shone sink..... off to give DS2 a dream feed in the hope of more than 2 hours sleep, and then tucking in for an early night.
See you all bright and early!

swanriver · 07/01/2009 23:01

finished ironing.

Tomorrow
menu plan first thing for next few days (till Monday)
clean out living room which is still full of pine needles
post parcels in hall

Go to work without getting roped into more than I can manage...

swanriver · 07/01/2009 23:14

I have three books on children's cakes from charity shops Greyskull, and although I have only made about three of cakes (very badly), the children absolutely LOVE looking at the pictures and discussing which one they might like to have if Mummy could actually make cakes. I made a plane cake once which only ds recognised WAS a plane but he was happy! And I made a Spiderwick cake once. And a Hansel and Gretel cake. And a poodle cake.

I remember Babyjjbaby on this thread. She got lots done, and she sewed! Are trolls people who stir arguments or are they invented personas?

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 07/01/2009 23:21

Swan it is strange - I don't think I knew anything about her really - but the baby she has talked about and bought nappies for and prams and asked about feeding and sleeping routines - was actually a teddybear apparently..

just a bit wierd really but harmless I think

swanriver · 07/01/2009 23:25

Maybe it was a bit suspicious that she got so much done...and seemed quite breezy all the time. But in the end she got bored of us..

But it does make you realise that you could invent elaborate worlds, scenarios and no-one would ever find out.

How did they find out it was a teddybear?

ByThePowerOfGreyskull · 07/01/2009 23:28

she told the ladies on the pushchair addicts thread - after some questioning!

swanriver · 07/01/2009 23:36

There are so many corridors of Mumsnet down which I have not yet wandered in my short internet existence. It is like the Matrix.

Anyway, I must go to bed, you have cheered me up with these exciting tales.

Goodnight Greyskull!

TheNewYearNewMadHouse · 08/01/2009 09:05
