I have something (jam?) welded to the bottom of my oven

How do I get rid of it? Have tried cleaning it both when the oven is warm and cold - both times no good. Is there something I can put on to desticky it?

Have you tried Bar keepers friend? That gets pretty much anything off I've found.

ooh no, what's that?
Also I've just remember that Fairy power spray has been pretty good in the past - haven't got any at the moment but will get some (also have dirty shelves to clean)

Its a powder (you can get it from Asda), its cheap as chips and it is sooo good at cleaning anything metal. You can make a paste or just sprinkle it on. You need to add elbow grease, obviously.

Would I get it from Homebase / B&Q do you think? If not, I'll order some other stuff rom lakeland as well
