Glad your on the mend Luda Sircharlie When I worked I got up at 6am at the latest so I'm a bit of a morning person anyway. I just force myself out and I can always go back to bed later I'm fed up that I am the only adult in the house who can drag themselves off the mattress tho I'm sure DH thinks we have a housework fairy BTW, it's the wiggly woo's that you have to watch, they constantly tickle Ed's toes to wake him up

luda glad you received parcel & that your are ok.take it easy so you are back on your feet for Xmas. I've had the pain in the shoulder thing after operation & it was bloody painful & scary.x
Xmas Cards Aprrox 100 written last night & today posted this afternoon.(Note to self to collect stamps throughout the year next year). Post Office tomorrow for Xmas Presents which need to be posted. Then I have hand full of small gifts I must order on line tonight. then I finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We iced the cakesa nd then went on a chritmas light spotting adventure - I now have festive light envy

EHM My friends six year old is really in to space and there are some cool things here with no VAT until tomorrow science and nature I bought him the metal detector and he uses it all the time on the beach. Also the microscope, projector and platearium are really cool - I want them all

I am so looking forward to my boys getting bigger nad then we can visit the planetarium at Wynyard

I am going to have a bath and then check all the pressies for batteries etc and then maybe start wrapping.

EHM my ds and his friends (age 5 and 6) are all into anything Star Wars and anything lego/bionicle related. Oh and dinosaurs...and The Beatles hth

Duty doctor phoned back at 4.45, took DD in, ear infection and eye infection
She checked my chest and throat, ok, forgot to ask her to look in ears. Still feel very ill
Oh well, and ds very odd behaviour tonight, hysterical almost. Is it Xmas and tiredness or is he getting a virus as well

Done nearly all on my list though just need to finish off the xmas cards.

Dd has been crying and worrying about an event she's supposed to be helping out at with the Brownies tomorrow She wants to go to see her friends but doesn't want to go cos she's feeling tired and weepy (she's very snotty too)- bless her. I've agreed to give her a duvet day at home tomorrow and see how we go.

Baileys I made them walk - smallish estate and loads of little windey paths. Took DS2 (2.5) in the buggy

I have finnished the little cakes and bagged and tagged them.

I have also made a couple of fudges for the toddler groups and teachers too.

Next job is to check what batteries I need for the pressies - so will motivate DH (after his shave) to come and look with me.

baileys i am very pleased, my little list is nothing to what needs to be done in here, but things have slipped and t is a great list for me of late!
think its the motivation of wanting to get my decs up!! which i wont do until i have cleaned every last bit of the flat, curtains have to come down the lot, before i put the decs up

Look at my profile - DS1 made a jellybaby Jesus cake at Preschool - it was lovley. He then told me that it was his mager and the shreadedwheat represented the hay

His Preschool is so great - attatched to the school and they do fantastic things. On Bonfire they made sparklers with them ie Breadstick dipped in melted white choc at the tip and then sprinkles on it . The staff are really dedicated and some have been their for years in what was Infant 1 before the nursery was added.

mad that looks fab, what a nice idea. Mind you if I made anything with ds with jelly babies in he'd bite my arm off before the jelly baby got under it's icing blanket

Just a quick post.
Luda Glad all went ok. You were very lucky to get your op done. I was told last night mine was cancelled. Only cancer patients were being seen today.
Been quite down all day. I think i had just been psyching myself up for the last few days and it has hit me hard that it won't be done now until after xmas. Will have to be very careful with xmas dinner etc now. Had been looking forward to having more food choices.

Tonight we have caught 3 mice so far! They were shutting the humane trap by knocking it ober then had been chewing the outside to get to the food in it! Cheeky beggers! So i bought 2 proper traps! One had only caught it's foot so it alive but in a jar until tomorrow. If still alive by then i will release it far from home! hate to think how many more there could be under the floor boards! DS2 is refusing to sleep in his room as the traps are by his bed where the gap is.

Will try and pop in tomorrow. DD's have their nativity in the afternoon. Por DD1 has a bad cough and was sick earlier from coughing. Glad in a way that i was here for her and that my friend who was having them over night didn't have to deal with it!
