Get DS3 changed and dressed
Have a shower
Get myself dressed
Empty the dishwasher
Print out the packaging slips for my ebay stuff
Get bits I've sold out of the box
Go to town - Morrison and Post Office
Do more washing
Get it dried
Get it ironed
Put it away
Put bread maker on
Dinner
Bath boys
Choir practice
Tidy living room
Tidy kitchen
Hoover
Tidy toys in DS2/3's room

Today I really must
Change my bed
Load of washing done
Dry said washing
Put all the washing away that seems to evolve on the dining table
Wash up done
Clean benches done
Sort out scary lookng pile of paperwork done
Cook beef stew for tonight done
Wrap present for neice (birthday today )

I am having a sandwich now and then taking the youngest to pre school for a visit .

Get DS3 changed and dressed DONE (and given his medicine too)
Shower DONE
Get dressed DONE (and dried my hair).
Fill in all the forms/slips that need doing DONE
Go up to the school and post box DONE
Iron DONE
Pack DS's things for the weekend mostly done
Put rest of clothes away
Sort bookcase
Hoover
Go through CD's and put in the right cases/put cases back together (DS3 has been at them)
Sort kitchen floor
Put dishwasher on (already virtually loaded) DONE
Load of washing (after DS's are back from school and changed)

Distracted by Dh coming home & having to pop out for stuff for handyman's visit tomorrow.

Not doing so well now!

I've been to DS2's Christmas fair (which I suddnely remembered about while merrily ironing early). Just sat waiting for the DS's to be picked up before I do anything else. Shouldn't be long now.

I've not done anything since the DS's left ermm - just over an hour ago.

About go and "cook" my dinner (well actually it's a packet "Pasta 'N Sauce" - I like eating crap when I'm child free ) and then going to at least get tidied up in here, hoover and try and sort the CD's........

sorting the cds is my kind of task - i'm so anal

well they really do need sorting, there are CD's all over the floor/table, broken cases, and they're all jumbled up - it would be nice to be able to pick a CD and not only find the track listing still inside it, but the CD (or any CD for that matter) and for the cover of the case not to be somewhere else in the room

thanks TTT - despite my aim to have a housework free weekend I've decided to relax this evening and then potter about tomorrow doing stuff. I'll have no child interuptions so can do things as and when I feel like, and leave stuff half done for a break without worying that they'll be undoing the work already done

what I would like to do

Curl up on the sofa with DS3 (well he would clamber on and off me periodically) and slee.

What I actually need to do.

Get DS3 dressed
Shower
Get myself dressed
Load the dishwasher and put it on
Washing (couple of loads to do)
Dry the clothes
Tidy all of downstairs (gawd knows how it's got so messsy - it was pristine on Sunday evening hmm).
Mop kitchen floor
Sort dinner
Bath boys
Go to town to post somethig I sold on ebay (although that can wait until tomorrow)

I'm sure there's more- I'm just trying to ignore it now.

This is my day so far -

Got up at 9.30 as ds and I slept in
Did breakfast for us both
Dressed and pottied ds
Cleaned up pooey nappy that he produced five minutes after using pot
Went for shower
Rescued chocolates off ds that he had climbed up to get while I was in shower
Cleaned chocolate of ds's face and brushed teeth
Put a wash on and started drying washing

Now I need to -

Do ironing
Dry rest of washing
Get shopping
Take ds out to try and make him less hyper tired
Finish knitting hat for Christmas present
Cook spag bol for tea

Clean the kitchen done
clean bathroom floor done
Hoover stairs
Change my bed

Have taken down dds birthday decs.
Cleaned living room windows inside and out
Taken down summer hanging baskets
Washed down front door and doorstep and cleaned windows.
Phoned two friends
cleaned our little tables in living room
tidied living room

next - defur the carpet where the Christmas tree will go (tis a fvaourite cat hiding spot)
wipe down all wipable surfaces in living room and tidy shelves
wipe down sofas.

I figure if I can at least get living room nice for tree going up on friday thats a good start!

So hows it going?

so far all I've done is changed and dresssed DS3, had some lunch and put him for a nap..............

Some days are like that!!!

Have dusted from top to bottom and vaccumed under the furniture.
Also cleaned the pictures - it hadnt really occurred to me that they might get dirty but blimey!
Thoroughly cleaned the fire place.

Makes it sound like a huge room but its pretty small. Astonishing at how much dirt can accumulate in one room!

Well done Merry it sounds like you have been really busy . You have made me feel bad about my filthy windows now though . Must try and get them done .
