Right, today we are:

set a time for the weekly pamper mission We are all busy and should have me time, so this is a great way of incorporating it in your week

Check nect months calender and incorparate anything in your weekly plan

Morning Routine

  • Get up and get dressed doing your hair and face
  • Make your bed
  • drink some water
  • Looking at your posted reminders in the kitchen and bathroom
  • Reading 2 minutes of reminders
  • Recognizing the negative voices and changing them
  • Put out your Hot Spots for 2 minutes
  • 5 Minute Room Rescue (pick any room in the house) set your timer and go!
  • Laundry
  • Mission
  • Whats for dinner

Before Bed Routine

  • Keep your sink shining
  • Lay out your clothes for tomorrow
  • Put out your Hot Spot
  • Laundry
  • Do something for yourself - ie read a book
  • set a regular bedtime and stick to it

Thanks Greyskull I really appreicate - let me know how much I owe

Fenicks window is a northern tradition - all done out in a different theme each year - Victorian this year. We took the boys a week or so ago - DS2 loved it. It scared the pants of DS1

I have done my list, all apart from the ironing, which I will do when the boys are in the bath later.

Jas we too are all something special fans.

wildthings can I have the receipe - DH has a thing for pot noodles and the boys are on a super noodle thing too - In fact DS1 told me "that these noodles are truly super mummy" and he is only 3

We are off to friends after school, so a nice cuppa and a chat for me and a run around for the boys

Very relieved to find today's plan is pampering, and already achieved this by putting on scent first thing!

Eldest threw up before school, so have had a very peaceful day watching Singing in the Rain with him, he was feeling tired, white and peaky but not actually vomiting thank goodness.
Tidied kitchen, avoiding all negative thoughts about skirtings, grubby marks, dusty corners, and concentrated on putting things away in right places and keeping TO DO paperwork under control.
Phoned AA about strange clutch control for tomorrow morning.
Booked Dentist appt for next week
Tore out some pages for Xmas shopping
3 loads of washing washed and dried
Floor swept
Rugs shaken
Other children picked up from school

STILL TO DO
Tidy bedrooms
Hoover upstairs
Put away clothes
Small pile of ironing
Wrap one more present and dedicate.
Getting ahead. Need to think of exciting menu for Sunday lunch guests.

Has anyone had a toy airport which was a success? Plan or Playmobil? for a transport obsessed 6 yr old boy?

And what is a Password Journal?

Has anyone tried putting most of existing toys away to clear decks for Christmas or is that overreacting? Feel house will never be tidy because there is too much stuff. Unfortunately it is stuff they still play with and ask for so can't give it away yet.

Hello all who are cold and tired and ill. Poor things. I am cold and tired but not ill, so I should be thankful.

Had two hours to myself today for the first time in 2 months. I think that's what's wrong with me, don't you? I have figured it out, thanks Mad - not enough (none) me time. what did i do with my time? went looking for the star costume, found a cracking one at Asda.

House is a complete and utter shambles today, done no routines at all. Shouted a lot at DS for being naughty - well, for just for being 4, actually. I hope my bad mummy phase is passing (time of the month does terrible things to me).

A man coming from a damp company tomorrow to look at the mould in the ex-bedroom. Still no word from landlord about reducing our rent grr. I think this year in this rental house is the most depressing time ever.

Oh well, tomorrow ... is another day. Night all

intravenousmulledwine · 02/12/2008 21:18

Argh. Haven't stopped all day and am totally knackered but have achieved quite a lot so feeling pleased with myself. Lounge looking much better and have (finally) caught up with the ironing so all is good in the IV household. Am going to watch some nonsense on TV and then scuttle off to bed.

Hope all with poorly LO's have a good night and all those who are freezing get boilers etc. fixed SOON (a phrase plumbers don'tseem to understand).

Good night all.

Bewilderbeast · 02/12/2008 21:36

evening all

back from class

grouchy thanks for the code, I have managed to do a bit of my xmas shopping with it's help

I am ready to murder dp but he is currently making me a bacon sandwich so I will hold off until it has been eaten

sorted some clothes out to go in the wm after tea

tmh is there any sign of the heating being fixed soon? Do you have plenty blankets/jumpers etc?

wendy it's really hard when you have no me time, I always feel very guilty about it and cannot take a day off and just be on my own, I always feel that I am neglecting ds or my mother or the house/jobs etc. My evening class is one way of trying to claw a bit of myself back but it's taken me 2 years to buck up the courage to do that. That 2 hours a week does help and because I'm doing a class I don't feel like I'm wasting my time (which is a stupid thing to think but it's maternal guilt).

Jas · 02/12/2008 23:30

Ok.

I'm not here really

DS has only just gone to sleep

swanriver playmobil, can't go wrong imo

Password journal and the reality
Don't waste your money!

No me time here, either wendy (unless you count mumsnetting!)
I need to find a new yoga class I think...

But first I will have to get a job
One of us has to and dp is getting nowhere
