In my house Handwash = delicate cycle in washing machine. Dry cleaning = handwash

Ditto LoolaBoys, although I have to admit that the idea of chucking stuff in the bath seems like a good one. V. eco friendly.

Although I usually do handwash 'handwash only' items the first time, just to see whether the colour runs or anything.

Was v. irked recently when I received 2 new tops from Boden which said they were handwash only. Never ordered from there before so a novice 'Boden Mum'. I thought the whole point of that brand was that it was good quality, durable and hard wearing stuff. Chuck in the machine, wear again, chuck in the machine wear again etc.

Yep, if they're really fragile I'll put them in a mesh bag as well as putting it on the handwash cycle Can't be doing with handwashing nonsense - same with non-dishwasherable things, ignore the label and if it falls apart replace it with something that CAN survive the machine!!
